Memory Fragment #5 - Haunted

30th of October, 2014.

You and Yuni both stood in front of what seemed to be a very old and abandoned house.

It looked straight out of a horror movie. The atmosphere that it emitted was... A bit overwhelming for you.

''Is this the house?'' Yuni looked up ahead with obvious determination.

''What do you think?'' You began to walk up to it. ''Come on, it's gonna be funny.''

''You're lucky I came with you.'' Yuni said, following you up. ''Without me, you'd definitely piss yourself.''

''Keep talking.'' You chuckled. ''You don't have the balls to go inside alone.''

''I don't have any balls at all.'' Yuni walked up the steps. ''Those aren't very feminine features, you know?''

''Just go inside.'' You shooed her away.

Yuni didn't think much of it, thinking you were too scared to go inside first, and that you were going to follow her in.

So, she walked in, opened the door, and entered the house.

... But what she did not expect is that you would immediately close the front door on her, like the jackass you were.

''... Y/n?'' Yuni tried to calmly call out, but the truth is, everything inside was dark.

Abandoned house, total darkness, and chances of a ghost appearing. With some spider webs scattered around. You'd piss yourself too.

''Y/n?'' She banged on the front door. ''P-Pussy! Get in here!'' She stuttered as she continued banging on the front door.

But you were blocking the door from the outside.

Just then, something touched Yuni's shoulder. She couldn't identify what it was. But it definitely shook her up.

''OPEN THE FUCKING DOOR!'' Yuni used all her strength to shove her way outside.

You were thrown down to the pavement from the powerful shove, and the door had opened. Yuni rushed outside.

''Fucking dumbass, don't do that!'' Yuni shouted.

''Haha, pissed yourself.'' You laughed at her dismay like the good friend you were as you got off the ground, dusting yourself.

''S-Shut up, j-just... Let's go inside.'' Yuni grabbed you by the hand and began to lead you inside. ''Also, did you bring a flashlight?''

''Just use your phone.'' You told her.

''Right.''

''There's a huge spider on that wall over there.'' You pointed out, which made Yuni scurry away to another location.

''I hate it here...'' Yuni murmured.

''You wanna chicken out?'' You asked her. ''I won't be surprised if you do, you're all bark, no bite.''

''I won't.'' Yuni moved that idea to the side. ''I just want to point out how stupid this idea is.''

''I knew it, you're scared.'' You smirked while you looked around the room you were both in.

''A-Am not!'' Yuni countered. ''I'm just saying, what if we get bit by something here?''

''There's a hospital not so far away and- Oh!'' You suddenly stumbled upon something. ''Look! I found something.''

Yuni came over to your location. ''What is it?''

''Pictures...''

''... Uh-huh.'' Yuni nodded. ''People lived here. That's why this place is haunted. Good job, Sherlock.''
