Chapter 55: I Make A Stupid Decision

'WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING? RUN, YOU IDIOT!!!' I yelled, pulling the ends if my hair.

'WHY WOULD YOU TRIP? OH MY GOD!' Sakura exclaimed, throwing a pillow across the room.

'GET UP, YOU IDIOT! YOU'RE GOING TO DIE!' I clutched my head.

'Don't you guys think you're taking this show too far?' Ino said, giving both Sakura and I strange looks.

'I actually regret agreeing to watch this show.' Ten Ten sighed, shaking her head in disbelief. 'I didn't expect them to be so into it.'

'W-we c-could choose another show ...' Hinata stuttered, hiding behind a pillow, trembling.

'What?' I looked at her in shock. 'No way! This show's just begun!'

'Shh ... Quiet!' Sakura hissed. 'I think her friend isn't in the toilet.'

'She has to be ...' I mumbled, taking a step back, expecting a jumpscare.

'Would you two just sit down.' Ino told me and Sakura.

Right now, it was about ten at night. Sakura, Ino, Hinata, Ten Ten and I decided it'd be a great idea to have a night where just us girls could chill. So, we decided to watch a show over at Ten Ten's house. However, seeing that I chose to watch a horror film, we were anything but chill.

Initially, all of us were seated on the couch. However, halfway through the show, Sakura and I were standing on either sides of the couch, our eyes glued to the television. And as Ino put it - we made it seem like the characters in the show could hear us.

Hinata was seated right in the middle, shivering and hiding her face in the pillow, occasionally peeping to watch. Ten Ten had her nails digging into her thighs as she watched, her back pressed so far against the sofa, it actually looked like she was ready to sink into it. Ino, on the other hand, had her hands covering her face but she was still watching through the gaps between her fingers.

We watched as the girl in the show slowly open the only cubicle which was closed. The door creaked open.

And there was the girl's friend. Her eyes wide, a choking noise escaped her lips. Her body hanging from a rope that held her by the neck.

'WHAT THE!!!!!!!' I yelled, nearly falling back as Ino let out a shriek.

We watched as the girl frantically tried finding something to put under her friend's feet. By the time she found something, it was too late. Her friend was dead.

I watched with my mouth open, still not believing it.

The closing song came on. The show had ended.

'Next episode! Next episode!!!!!!' I demanded, grabbing Ten Ten by the shoulder.

'Say, don't you guys want to watch something else?' Ino asked, hopefully.

'Yes!'

'NO!' Sakura and I objected.

Ten Ten sighed in exasperation. 'Alright, alright. But don't blame me if you guys can't sleep at night. Especially you, Makoto. You live alone.'

I waved her off. 'I already told my brothers I'd be sleeping over at their house. That's why I'm taking advantage of this and watching horror.'

'B-but Makoto-chan. You're still going to have to go home alone, right?' Hinata said.

I scratched the back of my head. 'Oh yeah ...' I then laughed. 'Never mind that now! Let's me enjoy this first!'
