Night had fallen and I was currently dragging my feet along the streets of Konoha. Well, at least the mission was pretty interesting. Although, I'm not really looking forward to something like that so soon. I'll be content with the usual simple missions, like walking a dog, or babysitting or farming or even showering a turkey. Okay, maybe not the last one, but you get my point.

Too occupied by my own thoughts, I hadn't realized I had already reached home. I smiled when I saw Nii-san sitting on the porch with a book in his hands, looking as casual as ever. It was actually rather bizarre seeing him dressed normally instead of in his ANBU uniform.

I walked towards him stealthily, planning on snatching the book away from him. He hadn't looked up even once, causing me to grin. I stretched my hand out to grab his book but then his arm stretched out and placed it on my head. My eyes widened.

'You should know that I would feel your presence,' he smiled at me, looking amused. He snapped his book shut with one hand before getting up.

'I thought you were too occupied with the book,' I admitted sheepishly. 'Guess I was wrong,'

He laughed, patting my head. 'How was the mission?'

'Interesting,' I said. 'It ended up being a B-rank mission instead of a C-rank.'

'Oh?' he raised an eyebrow curiously.

I nodded before asking. 'By the way, where's Otousan and Okaasan?'

'Visiting a friend's house,' he answered, before putting a hand on my head. 'C'mon, it's getting late. You've had a long day,'

We went into our respective rooms and the first thing I did once I stepped in was toss my bag onto he floor. I looked at my welcoming bed and sighed. Not yet. I need a bath first. So, that's what I did.

Once I was out, my hair was out of it's usual high ponytail and was dripping wet. With a towel hanging around my neck, I walked over to me bed and sat on it. I leaned my back against the headboard and sighed, trying remember everything that happened on this mission. Well, first of all, Inari's adorable. Secondly, Sasuke nearly died. And lastly, Naruto changed Zabuza's heart with just words. Just like him.

I rubbed my eyes when they started to sting. I can't start crying again. I promised myself I wouldn't cry over this matter ever again.

Slowly, my eyes trailed to the right drawer of my teak desk. Without thinking, as though my legs had a mind of their own, I walked over to my desk. My hand landed on the right drawer. Should I or should I not? I rarely did. I could never control my emotions whenever I did. But right now, I missed him too much. Hesitantly, I opened it, revealing a dusty yet familiar wooden picture frame. I reached for it and picked it up. With a shaking hand, I flipped the photo frame over, revealing a photo of three people.

In the centre, a young teen, with a smile on his face, gave off a mature vibe. His shoulder length brown hair pulled back into a low pony tail, his stormy grey eyes looking straight at the camera and his hands on the heads of a young boy and a girl who looked the same age. The girl had the same stormy grey eyes as him, however, her's held a look of fierceness, even though you could clearly see that she was smiling. Her short midnight blue hair pulled back with a maroon headband.  The boy, who looked somewhat identical to her, had the same midnight blue hair but his was spiky and looked impossible to tame. He too, had grey eyes but unlike the other two, his was light grey, almost blue eyes, filled with life and joy.

Absentmindedly, I stroked the picture with my thumb. 'Nii-san looked so adorable back then ...'

I smiled sadly when my eyes lingered on the other boy in the picture. 'I miss you ... Masoto. Nii-san misses you just as much as I do. It's not the same without you here ... I need my twin with me ...'
