MIKAELSON COMPOUND
[Freya walks into the spare bedroom, where she finds an angry Cami sitting on the couch, staring intensely at the glass of blood on the coffee table.]
Freya: [softly] Hello, Camille.
Cami: [annoyed] What do you want? Have you come to gloat? [Freya sits down on the bed and looks at Cami kindly.]
Freya: Actually, I'm quite sympathetic to your plight. I was once denied the right to die with dignity. I grew to hate the one who took that choice away from me. So, if you have decided to die? So be it. [Freya waves her hand, breaking the boundary spell. Cami looks surprised at this reaction, though she quickly rushes past the remnants of the salt barrier in case she changes her mind.]
Cami: [appreciatively] Thank you. All things considered, that's the nicest thing anyone's done for me all day. [Cami is about to leave when Freya stops her.]
Klaus looked guilty.
Freya: As you prepare for what's to come, I would offer you another choice. [Cami looks at her in confusion.]
Freya: You can starve alone, or you can choose to risk what remains of your life to help me. [Cami still seems confused, but she appears to be intrigued by this offer.]
BACK ROADS OF NEW ORLEANS
[Tristan, Aya, and Marcel have just arrived to the site of the SUV crash, where they find the dead bodies of the Strix members outside of the car and see that Aurora nowhere to be found. Just then, Tristan's phone rings, and when he sees it's Klaus, he scowls as he answers it.]
Tristan: If you touch a hair on her head-- [Tristan is surprised when Bella, not Klaus, cuts him off on the other end of the line, as the scene cuts to the warehouse where Bella is watching Klaus load up a metal shipping container with a chair inside.]
Bella: I'll do my best to restrain my brother, Tristan, but you and I both know that he can be impossibly savage when he wants to be.
Tristan: [growls] State your terms.
Bella: You'll meet us at Patrick's Dock, the warehouse. We exchange Aurora for Hayley and the Serratura. Oh, Tristan? I would make it snappy. Unless, of course, you want Nik to eviscerate that poor girl. [Bella hangs up without another word, and Tristan looks absolutely furious as he processes this turn of events. He then turns to address Aya, who doesn't look pleased either.]
Tristan: Go retrieve that filthy cur. Double the dosage of wolfsbane. Make certain she suffers.
Everyone glares at Tristan.
[Marcel looks concerned about this order, but when he interjects, Aya glares at him.]
Marcel: Now, hold up. Maybe we should think this through, huh?
Tristan: [coldly] I already have. The Mikaelsons want to make a deal, so I'll give them exactly what they want. And, once I know Aurora is safe, I'll order the Strix to descend en masse. [Tristan pulls the Serratura out of the front pocket of his slacks and holds it up.]
Tristan: Before the night is over, we will seal them away for all time. [Marcel continues to look worried about this plan, but it is clear that Tristan is intent to see it through.]
Everyone keeps glaring at Tristan.
ST. LOUIS CATHEDRAL / PATRICK'S DOCK
[At the St. Louis Cathedral, Freya and Vincent are in the bell tower, where they are setting up for a spell. On the tables and candleabrums, Freya has arranged hundreds of lit white candles. In front of them, she has a stone cauldron full of blood and a variety of animal bones scattered around the candles. In her hands is a large burlap poppet with a strand of blonde hair pinned to the top, and Vincent looks at it and her with a wary expression.]
Vincent: You think this is gonna work?
Freya: [nods nervously] You are a Regent to the city filled with the power of your ancestors. I can channel you, add your power to mine, and then we'll see.
Vincent: [sighs] Fair enough. [Vincent clutches Freya's right hand so she can channel him while she holds the poppet in her left. They then begin the spell.]
"You look good together." Said Bella smirking.
"No." Said Klaus, Kol and Elijah. Girls laughed at them.
Freya&Vincent: [chants] Kache l'nan san. Jen chèch je yo. [As they chant, Freya dips the "legs" of the poppet into the cauldron of blood.]
[At Patrixk's dock, Bella and Klaus are waiting inside of the warehouse when a half-dozen Strix vampires vamp-speed into the room. The brothers start to walk toward them as another few dozen or so vampires join them.]
Klaus: Here they come. [Finally, Tristan, Aya, and Marcel stop several feet away from the Mikaelson brothers, looking displeased as they all stare at each other.]
Tristan: Gentlemen. I wish I could say it was a pleasure. [Klaus nods in acknowledgement and gives Marcel a knowing look.]
Klaus: Marcellus. Made your bed with the enemy, I see.
Marcel: [smiles fakely] Membership has its privileges.
Klaus: [smirks] Let's get on with this, shall we? [Tristan turns back to a tall, blonde vampire woman and nods, so she and other male vampire bring the still-bloodied and shackled Hayley forward. She's so weak she can't even stand on her own, and when the vampires let go of her, she collapses onto the floor in between the two groups as Bella and Klaus stare at her in horror.]
People glare at Tristan and his goons.
Tristan: Hayley Marshall-Kenner, only slightly worse for wear. You'll have to forgive her if she seems a bit off. There's enough wolfsbane in her system to kill an entire pack. However, here she is, as requested. Now, where's my sister?
"I want to kill him so much." Muttered Layla.
Klaus: [sneers] She lives. You can thank Bella for that. [Klaus walks toward Tristan so they're standing eye-to-eye.]
Klaus: I wanted to flay her and hang her skin as a flag. Anyway, enough chit-chat. Let's conclude this tedious business, shall we?
Tristan: My sister first. And, if you're tempted to argue, consider the numbers.
"Is he really using numbers to defeat immortals? Riddiculas." Scoffed Layla.
[Klaus smirks in amusement and walks even closer to him so that their noses are nearly touching, indicating that he's not threatened by his army. Tristan looks slightly nervous, but stands his ground. After a moment, Klaus rolls his eyes and walks over to a rusty green shipping container, which he opens to reveal Aurora sitting inside with a black hood over her head and her wrists bound behind her back. Tristan, still suspicious, turns back to Aya.]
Tristan: If they try anything, attack. [Aya nods in agreement, and Tristan vamp-speeds into the shipping container toward Aurora. He takes off her hood, and her head rolls on her shoulders, still sedated from the drugs earlier. When Tristan looks back at Aya, Aya nods at the vampires standing guard over Hayley, allowing Klaus and Bella to take her. Aurora wakes up when Tristan starts to break her bonds and smiles at him weakly.]
Everyone keeps glaring at them.
Aurora: Oh, brother, you came for me.
Tristan: [smiles] Always. [Tristan stands once he's finished and pulls Aurora to her feet, and she wraps her arms around him in a hug.]
Tristan: Come on. Come on. [While they're hugging, Aurora reaches into Tristan's pants pocket and pulls out the Serratura. As soon as she has it, she yanks herself out of his embrace. He looks at her warily when he sees the medallion in her hand, and slowly reaches out to take it from her, not knowing what she's trying to do.]
Tristan: Rory...? What are you doing?[Before Tristan can react further, Aurora slams the Serratura against the wall of the shipping container, which activates its power and causes the warehouse to shake for a moment as though an earthquake has just hit. The medallion remains stuck to the wall, and Aurora looks at Tristan with crazed eyes as Tristan, realizing what has just happened, tries to run out of the shipping container and is blocked by an invisible barrier. Tristan looks at Aurora in horror.]
"Yeah. Suck it, Tristan!" Said Layla cheerfully. Bella looked at her amused.
Tristan: No... Aurora... What have you done to us? [At St. Louis Cathedral, Freya and Vincent continue to cast their spell with the poppet.]
Freya&Vincent: [chants] Kache l'nan san. Jen chèch je yo. [Back at Patrick's Dock, Aurora looks smug as she walks toward Tristan.]
Aurora: Not to us... To you. [Much to Tristan's horror, Aurora walks right past the barrier and joins Bella, Klaus, and Hayley outside of it.]
[At St. Louis Cathedral, Freya and Vincent sense that she has passed the barrier, which causes Vincent to take the lock of blonde hair off of the poppet and setting it on fire with a candle flame.]
Freya&Vincent: [chants] Kache l'nan san. Jen chèch je yo. [At Pqtrick's dock, Aurora turns so she can face Tristan, but suddenly, a magical haze covers her before it is revealed that it was actually Cami the whole time, and Vincent and Freya just used a glamouring spell to make her appear to be Aurora instead. Tristan stares at them with a look of cold fury from inside the shipping container.]
Tristan: What is this?
Cami: You know what they say-- payback's a bitch.
Everyone cheered for Cami.
Tristan: [horrified] How is this possible?
Klaus: [smugly] The Serratura creates an impenetrable boundary. Nothing living or dead can pass through.
Cami: And, thanks to your lunatic sister, I'm neither. [Tristan's eyes widen in alarm when he realizes that he is truly trapped inside of the shipping container forever.]
Tristan: No. No. NO! [Klaus rushes over to Cami and puts his arm around her before quietly murmuring in her ear.]
Klaus: Stay close to me, okay? [Tristan stares at the Strix vampires, who don't seem to know what they should do.]
Tristan: What are you waiting for? Take them! Now! [Just as the Strix are about to obey this command, Bella steps forward to address them herself, putting her body protectively in front of Hayley, who is still barely standing on her feet.]
Bella: Before you rush headlong toward almost certain death... I would like you to use a little bit of common sense.
Aya: [scoffs] We are ancient vampires, Bellatix-- each of us almost as strong as you.
Bella: [shrugs] You might almost be successful in subduing us, but at what price? Most of you will die in the process, and for what? To avenge a fool marching you headlong toward your very extinction in the name of a witch's prophecy? You do realize he engineered absolutely all of this purely to satisfy some petty grievance against my family? [Bella turns and walks toward the shipping container, smiling fakely at Tristan as she leans against the metal door.]
Bella: Tristan doesn't care for any of you.
"Go Trixie!" Said Kol.
Tristan: [furiously] Stop listening to her! [Bella ignores him and continues.]
Bella: The only danger here is the choice that you must make. You see, I am not your enemy. [She stops in front of Aya and nods in acknowledgement.]
Bella: It's either leave or die. The choice is yours to make. [Aya looks torn, but continues to glare at Bella as though she's entertaining the idea of fighting them anyway. Marcel, seeing what she's about to do, walks over and blocks her way as he whispers in her ear.]
Marcel: It's done. The moment has passed. Be smart, Aya. Smarter than Tristan. Don't waste any more of our guys. [Aya doesn't seem pleased that Marcel is ordering her around, but after a moment, she turns back to the rest of the vampires.]
Aya: Stand down. [Tristan only becomes more furious to see that the Strix have been convinced not to avenge him.]
Tristan: You will not abandon me! [Aya walks toward where Tristan is trapped in the shipping container and gives him a regretful look.]
Aya: It's a shame it has to end like this.
Tristan: [enraged] Aya, this isn't over! [Aya puts her right hand over her heart in a sort of salute to her former leader.]
Aya: [coldly] May the ghosts of our fallen keep you company. [The Strix then begin to leave the warehouse, Aya included, though Bella and Hayley stay behind. Tristan continues to shout after them.]
Tristan: Aya. Aya! AYA!
Everyone looked happy at Tristan's end.
