Thalia walked down the stupidly long hallway with Thomas, chattering being heard as they walked into a cafeteria with at least 100 other people.

Thalia scoffed in awe, "do you see this?"

"Hey Thomas, Lia!" Minho says, walking over to them. "What's going on?" Thomas asked.

"We weren't the only Maze," Minho says guiding them over to a table.

"There was this big loud explosion, and these guys came out of nowhere." A boy said across from where Thalia sat. Thomas was on her right, next to Newt. Minho was on her left.

"Started shooting up the place." He said. "It was intense," a boy said next to the other. "They pulled us out the maze and brought us here."

"What about the rest?" Newt asked. "The other people left behind in the maze, what happened to them?"

The boy sighed, "I don't know. I guess, WICKED still had them." The girl next to him shoved her fork deeply into her food.

"They're a bunch of sticks, I'll tell you that." She grumbled, then stabbed her food even harder. Thalia was pretty sure the plate was going to break if she stabbed harder.

"Sticks?" Minho asked, but only got a glare in response. The boy next to her sighed, "sorry about Florence.. she's, well, one of the people close to her got left in the maze."

Minho looked at her apologetically but she just stabbed her food again.

"How long have you guys been here?" Newt asks, changing topic.

"Not long. Just a day or two." He answers, then looks at another table. "That kid over there? He's been here the longest. Almost a week."

"His maze was nothing but girls," the boy next to the other says.

   "Really?" Minho asks.

"Some guys have all the luck." He answers and Florence glares at him. "Not that one girl is bad.. I would've preferred a less angry one."

They were all in bed now. Thalia didn't know why they would even allow her in the same room as the boys but they did so whoop!

She hears rummaging from Thomas bunk under her, so she looks at him and he is looking under their bunk. "Psst, hey, down here." A voice whispered and Thalia climbed down the bunk to squat down and look.

"Come on, follow me." The boy that was alone at the table earlier says, going in the vent.

"What?" Thomas mutters, then looks at Thalia who nods. They both go into the vent.

"Hurry, this way." The boy muttered quietly. So they followed. "Come on."

"Hey! wait a second, what the hell are we doing?" Thomas whispered.

"Come on we're gonna miss it." The boy responded, Thalia rolled her eyes but followed anyway.

They reach an area where they can watch a certain place below a vent, "what the hell are we doing here?" Thomas muttered.

"Sh, come over here." The boy whispered, pointing to look below the vent. "Watch."

A girl walks over, and then two guards carrying a large.. what is that?

Thalia turns her body so she can see more accurately. The door closed.

"What the hell was that?" Thalia muttered.

"They bring in new ones every day like clockwork." He responds.

"And what do they do with them?" She asked.

"I don't know. This is as far as I've ever gotten, the vents don't even go into that section."

"But once they go through that door, they don't come back out." He continues. "I don't think anybody ever really leaves this place."
