Ilang araw na ang lumipas at sa mga araw na 'yon hanggang ngayon, I still haven't been able to adjust. It's just so hard.
Napapansin na nila Sage ang struggle ko. They constantly pry into where the heck my car is and why I'm always taking a cab. Bakit din daw ako laging gutom and eat like a pig sa tuwing nakakasabay ko sila sa canteen. The truth is, I don't have any food here... hindi ko naman kasi nagugustuhan ang luto ng mama ni Meniya. Some of her dishes are okay, but others are bland or too salty.
And there's another issue that's been bothering me. I've already managed to spend half of my money and I don't fucking know why! All I've been doing is spend it on taxis and food!
Problemado akong tumayo mula sa kama at tinignan ang maliit na cabinet. A hiss escaped my lips as I saw that I only had a few pairs of clothes left. This is yet another problem I have to face. My dirty clothes...
How will I wash them?
Naiirita na ginulo ko ang buhok ko habang kagat-kagat ang ibabang labi, thinking about the problems I'm facing now.

Napatayo ako nang maayos nang may ideyang pumasok sa isip ko. What if I secretly enter the house and just get some of my clothes? Yeah, that's right...
Biglang naputol ang pag-iisip ko nang may kumatok sa pinto at tinawag ang pangalan ko.
"Bakit!?" Sigaw ko habang papalapit sa pinto. "Oh?" Dagdag ko nang buksan ko ito.
"May naghahanap sa'yo sa labas." Sagot ni Meniya. She pointed towards the main door with her lips.
"Who?" I asked, furrowing my brows.
"Sage raw." Nakangiting sabi niya at bigla niya tinusok ang aking kanang braso ko gamit ang kanyang hintuturo. "Pakilala mo kami sa mga kaibigan mo."
Napapikit ako nang mariin. Oh right! Why did I forget about that?
Pinilit nga pala nila ako kahapon na pupunta sila ngayon dito. Sinabi nila na kailangan nilang malaman kung saan ako nakatira, kung ligtas ba dito, at para raw alam nila kung saan ako dadalhin kapag nalasing ako. They kept pestering me all day, so I had to tell them, although I didn't give them the real reason bakit ganito situation ko. I just said that my grandma was training me to be independent. It seems like they bought my excuse.
"Si Jumbo?" Tanong ko dahil himala hindi ito nakabuntot kay Meniya.
"Nasa baba na winelcome na mga kaibigan mo kaya tara na!" Meniya said as she grabbed my arm and dragged me downstairs.
"Noelle!" Sage's voice echoed through the hallway as she caught sight of me, rushing towards me at sabay yakap na mahigpit. "I need to save you!"
Ano pinagsasabi nito? Save me? From what?
"Ano?" Nagtatakang tanong ko habang pilit na tinutulak siya. Medyo nahirapan ako dahil sobrang higpit ng yakap niya.
"You're in trouble." Sabi niya nang maghiwalay kami. "She's not a good influence on you!" She shouted, pointing at Jumbo. "She is such a maniac!"
