A/N: Not a single brain cell was present...but we finally have our ship haha!! As always, let me know what you think!

5 Months Later

Today was the day. The day when Chuck would no longer be the baby of the Glade (or Bellamy's baby for that matter). See, today, a new Greenie would come up.

Bellamy sat criss-cross on the ground, waiting for Darwin to finish up the braid in her hair. She rather appreciated his ability to have skills with hair. "Do you have to move so much?" Darwin questioned, leaning forward and frowning at the girl.

"You're being slowwww." Bellamy said in annoyance. "Take any longer with that and Alby will have us on garbage duty later today."

The braiding had started two months back, when Darwin had curiously started messing with her hair during dinner one night—and in the middle of one of her conversations with Minho. She had went with it, though.

Now, it was a relaxing activity for both parties.

"You know it's the same every time. It'll be a boy." Darwin said pointedly, tying off the last part of her hair.

"No," Bellamy said, jumping up and grinning at him. "It's bound to be a girl at one point. They can't just shove me in here and not send up another girl."

"Guessing girls again?" Leo questioned, knocking on the wooden chair as he appeared in their vision.

"Obviously." Bellamy said pointedly. "Now let's go! We have to get the baby and then—"

"I'm sure Chuck would love it if you stopped calling him the baby." Leo deadpanned.

"He's the youngest in the Glade. He can deal with it." Bellamy snorted, practically leading the way over to the Hut, where she found Chuck munching on an apple. "Isn't that right, bud?"

Chuck smiled with pink spreading across his cheeks. "H-Hi Bellamy!"

"Ready to no longer be the Greenie?"

Leo and Darwin exchanged the same weary glance—Bellamy was sometimes oblivious to the effect she tended to have on people.

"Yeah! Can't wait!" Chuck exclaimed.

She slung an arm around his shoulders. "Then come on, Scout! Let's go see the new girl!"

Chuck glanced backwards at the older boys, eyebrow raised. 'Girl?' He mouthed.

Darwin just shook his head. "Definitely not."

A small crowd had already inevitably gathered near the Box, which was still on its way up to them. Gally let out a sigh at the sight of Bellamy making her way to the front with her small posse of people.

"Half-Pint." He murmured, not even sparing her a glance.

"Sorry to disappoint, I didn't die in my sleep." Bellamy retorted. Although they were on better terms—she wasn't sure they'd ever be close friends.

"Lucky us." Gally sarcastically replied.

"Now girls, get along." Newt said pointedly, glancing between the two of them. "Last thing we need is you two arguing and scaring another Greenie."

"Hey! We said we were sorry!" Both Gally and Bellamy exclaimed at the same time.

It was true—they had nearly terrified Chuck when Bellamy had exclaimed that he was not, in fact, a girl. And then Gally had proceeded to chew her out for being an idiot.
