A/N: WHOO!! We're there baby!! I went there and I have no regrets. I will see you all in June with the final part of Maze Runner—The Death Cure :) As always, let me know what you think!

It had only been a few minutes when Bellamy heard it—the sound of planes and helicopters approaching. And that could only mean one thing this far out here. WCKD had found them.

She had tackled the boys to the ground as missiles and bullets shattered upon the camp. For a moment, the only thing she could hear was the sound of a high-pitched ringing in her ears. It stung against her head and Bellamy blinked her eyes open.

Fire licking smoke into the sky. Screaming and crying—it was sheer chaos and war. But Bellamy wasn't one to sit on her ass. No, she forced herself to her feet in seconds—pushing and shoving around people.

From the skies dropped in soldiers in black armor, carrying guns and pointing them at people. She watched in utter horror as the bullets hit people in the back—paralyzing them and sending them to the ground.

Same system as Dauntless.

"Where's Thomas?!" Minho yelled through the smoke.

He had followed Bellamy, along with the others, ducking behind a crate of barrels. Bellamy had no response—and she couldn't wait around for Thomas to come and help them. Her eyes zeroed in on Harriet and an explosive.

"Move it!" Bellamy commanded in a harsh tone, rushing across the expanse of land and reaching the armored truck.

"You need to cover us!" Harriet called to Vince, who was standing at the machine gun. He handed a pair of guns down to the group, commanding them to cover him so he could load it up.

Bellamy and Minho ended up with the shotguns and Bellamy couldn't help but smirk. The others grabbed onto guns as well, but it was Bellamy that ordered Minho to cover her back. To watch her six.

And then she moved through the chaos. Clearly and rapidly, not missing a single shot. She aimed, she pulled the trigger, and she continued to move. Shot after shot hit her target, clearing a small path for the group if they needed to make a getaway.

"Cover me! I'm going for the soldiers!" She didn't wait to hear their reply. She just moved.

Sliding across the sand, Bellamy's leg slammed into the ankle of a soldier. There was an audible crack as she came up, slamming her fist into his windpipe and hitting him across the face with the butt of her gun.

A bullet shot past her and Bellamy dropped to the ground, bullet sailing harmlessly overhead. She rolled on the ground, coming to a stop just a few feet short of a soldier. Pivoting to her feet, Bellamy roundhouse kicked the gun out of his hands.

It went flying and he punched at her. She dodged the hit and tugged her knife into place. She slashed and as he punched at her, her knife sliced through his neck. Just then, something loud sounded in her ears with a flash of blue.

She barely spared her friends a glance—finding them all unconscious on the ground from some sort of mass-bomb effect.

Her breath was stolen from her lungs as Bellamy hit the ground hard, rolling to force the soldier off of her. He ended up on top anyway, hands going around her neck. But she wasn't worried. No, she was calm.

Because her fear had woken her up.

Legs slamming upwards and wrapping around his neck, she forced him down and slammed his head into the ground. She didn't hesitate in getting back to her feet, finding a wetness sliding down her mouth.
