Luring Teresa in proved easier than Thomas had even anticipated. He hadn't liked the assignment given to him—but given the fact that Teresa had feelings for him, it just made sense to do it this way. It didn't make it any easier, playing her the way that she had played him.

Smuggling her out of the city was also fairly easy. Newt was the one to pull the black hood from off of her head and she let out a gasp of air, shock running through her features as she glanced at the group.

For a moment, it was all she could do to stare at the group. "Gally?" She finally asked in confusion, eyes focusing on the boy who she was sure was dead.

Gally's glare didn't dissipate. "Here's how this is going to go. We're going to ask you some questions, and you're going to tell us exactly what we need to know. Let's start off simple," he said, moving his chair to face her directly. "Where's Minho and Bellamy?"

Teresa glanced at Thomas. "You guys don't seriously think—"

"Don't look at him. Why are you looking at him? Look at me. He's not going to help you. Now we know you have Minho and Bellamy in that building." Gally grit out harshly. "Where?"

Her gaze flicked down at the ground in guilt. "Minho's with the others in holding. Sublevel three."

"And Bellamy?" Gally pressed, voice equally harsh.

"Solitary. Sublevel 5. She broke my nose."

Leo nearly snickered in the back—eyebrows raised in appreciation. "How many others?" Newt questioned.

"Twenty eight."

Gally's eyes went wide for a half second—glancing back at Brenda. "I can make that work," The girl said, placing a card down on the table.

"No, no—you guys don't understand. The whole level is restricted. You can't get in without a thumbprint ID." Teresa started.

"That's why you're going to come with us." Thomas said, leaning forward.

"Oh I don't know," Gally said, tilting his head. "We don't necessarily need her. Right? Not all of her," he said, grabbing for his knife. "We just need her finger."

"Gally—" Thomas started.

"Oh come on," Leo let out a deep sigh. "Bellamy would've already cut the thing off to get us out."

"You squeamish or something? I guarantee she's done a lot worse to your little girlfriend and Minho." Gally said pointedly, staring Thomas down.

"It won't make a difference," Teresa blurted. "Do whatever you want to me! You still won't get through the front door. The sensors will pick you up—"

"We know. Property of WCKD," Thomas said, glaring at her. "We're tagged. You're gonna help us with that too."

Thomas flanked Teresa, dressed in a WCKD military grade black suit, marching forward. They walked past the sensors with not a single issue—straight down the hallway.

They were met by Newt, dressed in an identical black suit, mask covering his face. The trio took the next flight of stairs, moving alongside the parking garage. A third masked soldier—Gally—joined the party, leading the way.

She opened up the access door and continued down the stairwell. Gally came to a stop at the sight of the breaker boxes, grin spreading across his features. "Hang on, I can get into this." He stopped in front of them.
