A/N: Bellamy, my chaotic queen, you will forever be famous for getting the job done haha! As always, let me know what you think!

Her thighs burned as she ran up the hill of sand, forcing herself to keep going. To keep going. One foot in front of the other—no matter the cost. Bellamy could hear the soldiers pouring out of the compound after them.

They had dropped into a portion of a hill—hiding just out of sight of the roaming soldiers. "Stay low!" Bellamy hissed to the group.

For the first time in a long time, Bellamy felt like herself. This was the portion of herself that had been missing and she hadn't even been given a chance to process it.

They slid down a sandy hill, nearly sliding to a stop at the sight of a sort of structure—Bellamy thought it was the remains of a building. She just wasn't all that sure. Not in this light and in this sandstorm that was taking place.

Teresa was the first one down and into the structure, with Bellamy hot on her heels. Minho grabbed the bag that Aris had taken—pulling a flashlight from within and illuminating the building slightly.

"What—what the hell was all that back there?" Leo demanded, breathing heavily as he stared at Bellamy.

"Long story."

"We gotta keep moving!" Thomas commanded the group.

Bellamy had to agree—in fact, it seemed to her that Thomas had the best survival skills out of anyone in the group, except for maybe Minho. And she could work with that—but now she had the tremendous weight of keeping them all alive.

"Thomas stop!" Teresa demanded in a loud tone. "Tell me what's going on!"

"It's WCKD." Thomas replied in a soft voice. "They lied to us and we never escaped. Me, Bellamy, and Aris, we found bodies. Too many to count."

"Dead bodies?" Minho questioned.

"Not exactly. They were draining them. For the Cure." Bellamy said with a deep frown. "And those damn idiots—they gave me my memories back. So I'm going to put as much distance in between us and them as I can."

"What's the plan?" Newt questioned.

Thomas blinked a few times—as if the words hadn't formed in his brain fully. Bellamy just let out a deep sigh. "We get the hell away from WCKD. We find anyone that's willing to fight them, and we join them. It's either that, or I can try and get us to Chicago." Bellamy insisted.

"What's Chicago?" Leo asked in a confused voice.

"It's a city. It's where I came from. There's soldiers and weapons and—and they'll support us. They'll protect us." Bellamy insisted. "I just...don't know where here is to get us to Chicago."

"Lovely," Newt replied dryly. "We have really no idea where we're going or what we're doing."

"Janson said something about people hiding in the mountains. Some kind of resistance." Aris remembered.

"The Right Arm," Bellamy recalled. "That's probably going to be faster than getting to Chicago."

"If they're against WCKD, then they can help us." Thomaas added.

"People in the mountains? Mountain people?" Newt asked incredulously.

"Well if you'd like, Boy Wonder, I can wave a white flag and we can hold hands and sing Kumbaya until WCKD shows up to inevitably drain us of all life and we can all watch each other die?" Bellamy stated dryly.
