A/N: Guess who's back?!?! Anywho, between a surgery, moving home for the summer, and work, life has certainly kept me busy! I'm hoping to get updates out every two weeks for this book over the summer :) As always, let me know what you think!

6 Months Later

Six months. Six agonizing months later and they were only just barely making progress in finding Minho and Bellamy. Thomas, Newt, Leo, Frypan—they were more than frustrated. Minho and Bellamy had given everything in trying to ensure that they had gotten away.

And now they had no confirmation that they were even still alive.

Thomas's mentality had switched to more of a WWBD. In short, What Would Bellamy Do? The answer was something absolutely batshit insane. And he knew it. And it was working.

Climbing atop the train and gesturing for Vince to follow, the duo watched in horror as the car they had been using to follow flipped over. For a moment, it was all they could do to breathe heavily and hold on.

And then they began moving. The Helicarrier above them seemed to zero in on the fact that they were there. That they were unwanted rats aboard a ship not meant for them. "Brenda, we've got company!" Thomas called into his radio.

Blasts fired down from above towards Jorge and Brenda, still speeding ahead in their car. They turned rapidly and took off in the opposite direction—forcing the Helicarrier to follow after them.

"Thomas, you're on your own!" Brenda's voice crackled over the radio. "Good luck!"

Easier said than done.

Pulling himself atop the train car, Thomas began to lead the way forward. He and Vince ran ahead, jumping over the space between train cars and continuing forward. Soldiers poured atop the train top coming from the opposite direction.

Now in the late months of spring, Thomas had never been more grateful for the sun and its warmth. His gaze fell on the soldiers up ahead and he gave a frown. Vince dropped down below towards where the train cars connected and Thomas stayed in place, set features.

"Give me the bag!" Vince called.

He didn't hesitate in tossing the bag down to him. For a moment, Thomas just waited aand he watched the soldiers getting closer and closer. And then he dropped down behind Vince, moving forward with his gun at the ready.

As soon as the soldiers came into close enough view to shoot, Thomas was pulling the trigger. Over and over and over again, not giving them a single second of reprieve or opening. "Vince?" He called.

"We're set!" Vince called, finishing up the explosive device. "Cover your ass!"

Thomas and Vince moved all at once to the side of the train, where they clung for dear life to the rails. Gunshots sounded at them—but the explosion that sounded blew the soldiers down and separated the train cars.

Their half of the train car came screeching to a halt as the rest of the train pushed on ahead. Thomas gave a whistle as he hopped down from the train, landing on the rocky ground below.

A head popped out from behind an outcropping of rocks, revealing Newt and Leo. At the sight of them, Thomas began banging on the walls of the train.

"BELLAMY?! MINHO?!"

For a moment, it was silent. And then the chaos broke out—sounds of screaming and cheering from within the train car. Thomas just turned to face Newt and Leo. "It's this one!"

Newt pulled his goggles on and got to work on his job. Leo just clutched the gun in his hand tightly, watching the soldiers approach from the other train car a good mile down the road. He began working with the flame, melting down the lock.
