Tris was soundly asleep the next morning when something poked at her arm. Without even opening her eyes, she fully knew that it was not time to wake up yet. And with how hard she had been working, she needed the extra rest.
Ignoring the presence, Tris rolled over. A second passed, then two, and then she was being pinched. Tris's eyes flew open, coming to rest on a semi-amused Bellamy, crouched on the ground next to the bed.
Leaning forward, Tris narrowed her gaze. No one else was awake yet. "What are you doing here?" She whispered.
"Getting you." Bellamy whispered back.
She glanced around at the other sleeping transfers. Why the hell was Bellamy waking her up this early? "Why? I'm not supposed to leave—"
Bellamy quirked an eyebrow up. "Maybe you are a Stiff." She decided quietly. "Besides, you're with me. I'm giving you permission."
Tris glanced around again, eyes begging for just another hour of sleep. "Why?" She hissed quietly.
Bellamy got to her feet, staring down at Tris, who was still laying in her bed. "Because you jumped first. That means something. Do you trust me?"
"Not really, no."
"Then you're smarter than I gave you credit for. Now come on," Bellamy commanded, tugging on Tris's arm.
Tris followed after her, quickly changing. She was pleasantly surprised to see how few people were up at this particular hour. "What are we doing?" Tris questioned.
"Shit, do you always ask this many questions?" Bellamy asked, glancing back at her in judgment.
Tris almost laughed in irony. Bellamy was a chatterbox when she wanted to be. And this morning, she didn't seem to be. "Only when I get dragged out of bed by virtual strangers."
"If you really must know," Bellamy said, stopping short as they approached the training center. "I'm going to help you get better. Train extra."
Letting out a huff of air, Tris just shook her head. "Why me?" She asked specifically.
"Because quite frankly, it's painful as hell watching you fail at everything except for being a good volunteer to do things first." Bellamy admitted with a shrug. "Plus...you seem nice. And I don't really have many friends."
A small smile quirked onto Tris's lips. "Alright then. What are we doing?"
"We're going to run. And then tomorrow, you're going to start weight training."

"So I heard you nearly got thrown into the Chasm earlier." Bellamy said, sliding into the table for dinner across from Tris and Christina.
Christina just looked embarrassed, a frown slipping onto her face. "Has everyone heard about it?"
Bellamy winced slightly. "It's kind of how Eric works. Sorry about that."
"Well thanks."
"If it makes you feel any better," Bellamy said, sliding her the plate of chocolate cake in front of her. "You can have my cake. And you're not the first person that Eric has tried to fling off the walkway."
At that, Tris's eyes widened. "Wait, really?"
"Yeah, if it wasn't illegal to get rid of little old minor me, he would've done it a long time ago." Bellamy said with a shrug.
