Rani: Doesn't matter Kion! You tried to kill me, and you have the mark of evil. You can't come to the Tree of Life!

Kion: What!

Rani: You might hurt all animals at the Tree of Life! You can't come in!

Kion: I-I'm so sorry! Please allow me to enter. I need healing!

Nirmala walked up beside Rani and put her back on her back to sooth her. However, this made Rani more adamant.

Nirmala: Calm down Rani. It was an honest mistake. His scar was controlling him.

Rani: Doesn't matter Nirmala! He can't enter!

Kion was overwhelmed by sadness and shame and ran away from the scene.

Lion Guard: Kion come back! Where are you going!

Fuli: Anga, go after him.

Anga: Sure thing.

Anga flew into the sky and searched for Kion. She eventually found him. He was running around the Tree of Life and away from it. Anga swifty swooped down and landed in front of Kion.

Kion: Anga! What are you doing here?!

Anga: Kion, what's gotten into you? Why are you running away?

Kion: I can't do this anymore. If I can't be healed, and I severely harm others, then I shouldn't stay near my loved ones. I am running away to elsewhere. If I can't be near anyone, I can't hurt them.

Anga: Kion please don't run away! We know that it was an accident!

Kion: The Night Pride, or Rani rather, won't allow me entrance, thus I have nothing else to do. I'll see you again, I guess. Tell the rest of the Guard to not come after me.  Kion said through tears.

With that, Kion bolted away from Anga, and didn't look back.

Anga flew back to the pass at the Tree of Life where the Night Pride and Lion Guard were still situated. Fuli was the first to notice her arrival.

Fuli: Anga, what happened, and where is Kion?

Anga: He said that he's running away. He doesn't want to harm anyone, so he is just going to isolate himself for good.  He said that he most likely won't come back, unless he is healed.  Anga responded through tears.

The Lion Guard started to tear up and even the Night Pride felt sorry for them. Even Rani started to feel bad about what she did to Kion by not welcoming him.

Rani: Everyone, I apologize for my actions and my attitude towards Kion. I shouldn't have gotten angry at him. I am sorry.

Bunga glared at Rani angrily.

Bunga: Sorry! Sorry isn't going to bring back my best friend!

Fuli: Bunga calm down. We will figure out a way to bring him back and to heal him. Right now, let's just focus on entering the Tree of Life ok?

Bunga: Ok Fuli.

The Night Pride leads the Lion Guard through the pass and into the Tree of Life. When in sight, the Lion Guard stares at the Tree of Life in awe, much to the Night Pride's amusement.

Fuli: This place is beautiful.

Anga: Yep.

Beshte: Poa

Bunga: This place is UNBUNGALIEVABLE!

Ono: Wait, what? What are we looking at right now guys?

Beshte: It's ok Ono, you'll have your sight back soon. And as soon as you regain your sight, than you can see the Tree of Life for yourself.

Rani: *chuckles* Come on Lion Guard. Let's visit the Queen.

The Night Pride takes the Lion Guard to the Tree of Life.

Meanwhile...

Kion

Kion has been running for quite some time and has finally stopped due to exhaustion and hunger. He quickly hunts a nearby gazelle and eats it. He starts ruminating about his previous actions towards the Night Pride's leader.

Kion: Why did I have to lose control of myself like that! I could've been inside the Tree of Life and being healed right now! Now it's impossible!

Kion starts to mope on the ground for a while, and then he gets up.

Kion: Crying isn't going to do anything. What do I do now though? I don't know the way back home and I don't know where I am. I should talk to my grandfather.

Kion walks to a secluded plateau.

Kion: Grandfather Mufasa.

The clouds begin to shine, and the figure of an adult lion appears in the clouds, illuminating the night sky.

Mufasa: Yes Kion, I am here. Something seems to be troubling you.

Kion: Yes grandfather. I just arrived at the Tree of Life to get my scar healed. But a rockslide occurred and blocked the path. Then the Tree of Life protectors showed up and welcomed us. However, I then lost control of myself and attacked their leader, a lioness named Rani. After the incident, I said it was an accident, but I was told that I was never welcome at the Tree of Life. And so, I ran away to wherever I am now. And now, I can't heal my scar, and I can't be near my friends or family! *starts to cry*

Mufasa: Kion, first calm down.

Kion calms down and stops crying.

Mufasa: Even if you were banished from the Tree of Life, doesn't mean there isn't another way to heal your scar, Kion. You can heal your scar Kion, and you will be reunited with your friends and family if you try.

Kion: But how?

Mufasa: Even on the darkest day Kion, you can find hope. Trust yourself and learn to control your emotions. And if you ever need guidance or someone to talk to, I will always be here.

Kion: Ok, Thank you very much grandfather Mufasa.

The former king bowed his head in recognition and slowly faded away.

Kion walked on, trying to find a way to heal his scar so he could be reunited with his friends and his family once again.
