Askari: Well done Kion. You have learned all the main abilities of the roar. Now you must train them and be able to master them before you are taught the secrets of it.
Kion: Thank you very much Askari. I will stay here for a few days and train my roar.
Askari: Remember Kion, that if you need help or guidance, just talk to me or your grandfather.
Kion: Asante Askari. Understood.
The legendary lion spirit slowly faded away in the clouds.
Tree of Life
Rani woke up in the morning because she took the night patrol off. Luckily the Night Pride didn't report any suspicious activity around the Tree of Life territory.
They soon met up with the Lion Guard and discussed various topics. The Lion Guard actually had a very innovative idea.
Ono: Night Pride, I think we have an idea on how to heal Kion and not make anything very complex.
Rani: Go on Ono.
Ono: So, we were thinking that you could instruct us on how to heal Kion and we could return to the Pridelands and heal Kion there.
Baliyo: That seems like a decent plan, what do you think Rani?
Rani: It's ok. Rani had a feeling that she wanted to see Kion and she finally understood Nirmala's words from the night before.
Surak: I think that it would be fine.
Nirmala: I don't think so. The healing always occurs at the Tree of Life and even if they do know what to do and find Kion, how and where would they heal him?
Fuli and Beshte: You do have a good point.
Rani: Ok then. Night Pride let's go get some rest.
The Night Pride walked away, leaving the Lion Guard alone.
Later that day in the afternoon, Ullu spots 3 very suspicious animals at the mountain pass. One leopard, one snow leopard, and one komodo dragon. From what she heard, they seemed to be troublesome, so she flew off to warn the Night Pride.
Ullu: HooHoo! Night Pride, Night Pride!
The Night Pride awakens from their rest to find Ullu calling them.
Rani: Ullu, what's wrong?
Ullu: I spotted a very strange group of animals by the mountain pass and I think they might be evil.
Rani: Ok, let's go Night Pride.
The Night Pride and Ully headed to the mountain pass and arrived just in time.
???: Yep, we're almost there. Just follow me.
??f: If you want us to follow, then stop talking and start leading.
???: Fine.
The trio of villains walked through the mountain pass.
???: Hehehehe, those rare animals will never know we're coming.
The trio suddenly stopped at the sight of 4 brown lions that stood in front of them like a wall, blocking their path.
Rani: Maybe not, but we know!
???: Who are you?
Rani: We are the Night Pride, and you have one chance to turn around and to return to where you came from, because you won't get past us.
Baliyo: You probably should take our offer. It's pretty generous.
???: Thanks, but no thanks! The main leopard then roared and charged at the Night Pride, followed by the other two predators.
Rani: With Strength and Respect!
Night Pride: Night Pride Protect!
The two groups began to battle, but the Night Pride was more skilled and outnumbered them, so they prevailed easily.
Rani: Leave and never return!
Rani then turned to the Night Pride, and they walked back into the Tree of Life. But little did they know that this small fight would be the start of one of the biggest conflicts the Tree of Life will face.
As the Night Pride entered the Tree of Life's territory, they were greeted by the Lion Guard, who questioned them on the battle.
Rani: Hey Lion Guard, everything alright?
Fuli: Yes, everything ok? What happened at the mountain pass?
Rani: Just a small fight engaged with a trio of animals: a leopard, snow leopard, and a komodo dragon. Nothing really severe.
Baliyo: And the leopard fought pretty good. I think his name was mentioned as Makucha.
The Lion Guard caught their breath when they heard the news.
Rani: What's wrong?
Fuli: We know Makucha, and probably the other 2 foes, they must've followed us here!
Rani: They followed you here!
Beshte: We are very sorry Rani, we had no idea that they were trailing us.
Rani: All of you save that for the Queen!
Rani ran off towards the Tree of Life as the Lion Guard gave chase.
The 3 adversaries that the Lion Guard met along their journey to the Tree of Life, Makucha, Ora, and Chuluun have returned and are seeking revenge. Kion is at Cihka Escarpment training his roar and learning focus, calmness, and control from Askari. The Lion Guard and Night Pride are desperately trying to find Kion and heal him before it's too late. Rani actually has a crush on Kion, but doesn't know if she can truly express it.
