As her 5 friends charged at her, Rani didn't know what to think. She stood there, frozen as a rock. She couldn't fight her own friends. It was one of her fatal flaws.

She looked around her to notice her friends just as shocked and still as she was. The look in their eyes told her that they were desperate.

The crowd of villains soon cleared, revealing Kion. As he laid eyes upon Rani, he smirked evilly, perhaps eviler than Scar himself.

Kion: Hello again Rani!  Kion said in a voice that was not Kion's. The voice was much deeper and purely evil.

Kion I am glad to finally see you again. I think you missed me?

Rani growled at him and crouched down into a fighting stance.

Kion: What is the matter Rani? Can't take the fury of evil?!

Kion chuckled evilly and lunged at Rani. Rani sidestepped to dodge his attack and countered with a paw strike to his jaw. Kion deflected it and pounced on Rani, but she was too swift and dodged again.

Rani's friends looked at the battle between her and Kion rage on. All of them wanted to step in, but they were too weak to do so. Kion was powerful and was not himself anymore.

Furthermore, Rani was getting tired. She was tired from continuously battling her former friend and all the blows she received didn't prove much help either.

As she started to falter more and more, Kion took his chance and pounced on her, pinning her down.

Kion wore an evil smirk and chuckled more evilly than Scar himself.

As Rani looked into his eyes, fear evident on her face, she saw a thirst for blood and domination. This wasn't the Kion she knew. His eyes normally shown kindness, care, and wisdom. However, his beautiful golden eyes were corrupted with a blood red even redder than blood itself.

Rani then looked at her friends. She watched all of their faces wince in fear and worry as their enemies started closing in on them. They couldn't resist or hold them back much longer.

Kion: Doesn't this seem familiar to you?

Rani looked into his eyes again, and she thought silently for a moment. Then it struck her. Her face contorted with much fear, pain, and regret as she recalled the night of her parents' death.

Kion smiled evilly. It seemed as if he had read her mind.

Kion: Ah yes! That night your parents died. I finally remember!

Kion then leaned down his head until it was right above Rani's and whispered.

Kion: Don't worry, your fate will end in the same way.

Memories and thoughts of Kion flooded Rani's mind like a bunch of tsunamis flooding a hotel room. Memories from Kion's first arrival, to him saving her using his roar, to their conversation in the cave, and her developing feelings for him all flashed right before her eyes.

She looked up at Kion with eyes that showed sincere love and care. She did the unthinkable.

She reached up and kissed him. All her love and passion flowed coursed through her veins, and she felt the world freeze around her. This was the best state she had experienced since before her parents' death.

When she pulled away, Kion stood in place, frozen in shock and then something clicked inside him. A bright aura shown around Kion, blinding everyone. Scar's army backed away from the scene. As the bright aura receded, Kion's fur was back to normal. As his eyes opened, they emitted a glowing golden light and he started hovering above the ground.

Kion: You will pay for the destruction you have caused Scar.

Upon saying those words, Kion peered through the crowd and spotted Scar. The look in his eyes frightened Scar to his very core.

Without saying another word, Kion charged at Scar, faster than light itself.
