The Night Pride led the Lion Guard into the Tree of Life. The Tree of Life was more fascinating on the interior than the exterior. The inside was hollow and gleamed dim light and had a feeling of hope and strength.

The Lion Guard a lioness resting atop a large, flat boulder in the middle of a large room. The lioness looked old, frail, and weak, and had a mark of blue paint on her forehead, which symbolized her as the queen.

Rani: Queen Janna, this is the Lion Guard. Lion Guard, this is Queen Janna, ruler of the Tree of Life.

The Lion Guard reverently bowed to the queen, much to the Night Pride's astonishment.

Janna: Welcome Lion Guard. If you are the Lion Guard, then you are from the Pridelands then.

Bunga: We sure are!

Fuli: Yes.

Beshte: Poa!

Ono: Indeed.

Anga: Yep.

Janna's face then was full of worry and confusion.

Janna: If you are the Lion Guard, then where is your leader? There is no lion among you.

Rani: That is why they came here your majesty. I must explain what happened a while earlier.

Rani explained to the queen, her grandmother, the whole situation on how she met the Lion Guard, lost her temper, and banished Kion.

Janna: Rani, you shouldn't have banished Kion. It was his scar that controlled him and not him.

Rani: I understand now grandmother, and I feel bad. I wish that I could find him and apologize to him.

Janna: It's ok Rani. At least now you recognize the mistake of your actions.  Lion Guard, tell me about your leader, Kion.

Fuli: Well, he is the fiercest and leader of the Lion Guard. In addition, he is about the same age as Rani, maybe a bit older, and he possesses the Roar of the Elders.

Queen Janna's face went pale on hearing of the Roar of the Elders. The Night Pride was filled with worry and anticipation, while the Lion Guard just stood there in confusion.

Janna: The Roar has finally returned! We need him at the Tree of Life immediately!

Rani: Grandmother what do you mean that the roar has returned?

Janna: You will understand soon enough Rani, but right now I need you to go and search for Kion, welcome him, and bring him to me.

Rani: Ok

Janna: And when he is here, we can heal his scar.

Rani: Of course.

Janna: Thank you rani, and hurry please.

The Night Pride and Lion Guard exited the Tree of Life. They discussed their plan to find Kion.

Fuli: So Anga and Ono fly around the search for Kion in the nearby lands to see if they can find him. And once we find him, we can heal him at the Tree of Life.

Rani: The Lion Guard searches the east lands and the Night Pride searches the nearby west lands. I do hope we find him though.

The Night Pride and Lion Guard executed their plan and hoped that they would be able to find the Lion Guard's fierce leader in order to heal his scar and eventually, return to the Pridelands.
