Bunga, Anga, and Ono were traversing the dense forests around the borders of the Tree of Life. They have been wandering through the forest for hours on end.
Bunga: UGHHH!!!!! This is taking so long! How long has it been?!
Ono: We are searching for your best friend Bunga. Can't you just have some respect and care for him? He literally sacrificed himself for you and saved you.
Anga: Ono's right.
Bunga: You're right. He is my best friend, and I should be able to at least search for him when he's missing.
Bunga, Anga, and Ono continued through the forest to find Kion. All of a sudden, Bunga felt hungry.
Bunga: Guys, I am starving! Can we please stop and eat?
Anga rolled her eyes while she and Ono glided down to the ground.
Anga: Very well Bunga. What about you Ono?
Ono: I think I'll pass.
Anga: Okay, I am going to get some fish to eat. I'll be back soon!
Bunga: Bye Anga!
Bunga runs over to a rock that he found and lifts it up, there's nothing! He lifts up another rock and there's nothing under it again!
He keeps lifting up rock after rock, but it's all fruitless.
Bunga: Ughhh! Where are the bugs?!
Ono: Calm down Bunga. Just keep trying, you'll find some eventually.
Bunga: Easy for you to say! You're just standing around!
Ono thought he was being optimistic, but he jinxed it.
Bunga then lifted up the next rock and there were bugs swarming beneath it.
Bunga: Finally! LunchTime!
Bunga started eating the bugs like never before.
Bunga: Hey Ono! Wanna join?! Bunga said with his mouth full of food.
Ono: Sure!
Bunga ran over to Ono and picked him up and carried him to the meal platter. They then started to dig in.
After they finished eating all the bugs, lay down on the ground, tired.
Bunga: That was one heck of a meal if I say so myself.
Ono: Indeed.
Bunga: Wait, what is that in the sky?
Ono: What does it look like?
Bunga: It's large and circling above us and- descending towards us fast! Duck!
Bunga and Ono ducked just in time to dodge Anga's "famous" landing.
Anga: Are you two ok?
Bunga: Oh, it was you, Anga?
Anga: Well Duh!!! Who else were you expecting?
Bunga: Dno.
Anga rolled her eyes again and gestured to the fish below her talons.
Anga: Anyways, I got fish. You guys want to try?
Bunga: I think I'll pass.
Ono: I am ok Anga, thanks!
Anga: Ok.
Anga started eating her fish while Bunga and Ono lay on the ground once more.
The trio then heard a rustling sound in the bushes.
Bunga: What was that?
Ono: What was what?
Bunga: I heard something in the bushes over there! Bunga said while pointing towards a patch of bushes near a small clearing.
Anga flew into the sky and magnified around the area, but the splitting image of the figure quickly disappeared.
Anga: Whatever it is, it's very fast! Be careful.
Anga zoned in her eyesight once more and caught a clear image of the stranger. To her surprise, it was a cheetah! In addition, it looked vaguely familiar.
Anga: Guys, it's a ch-
Before Anga could finish speaking, the cheetah pounced onto Bunga, pinning him to the ground. Bunga looked up at the attacker in surprise.
Bunga: Get off me! Don't you know who I am?!
???: No I don't think so-- wait! Is your name Bunga?
Bunga: Yes- wait, how do you know? Who are you?
???: I am Azaad.
Anga swiftly swooped down in front of him.
Anga: Oh you're Azaad! So you're the cheetah Fuli's been talking a lot about!
Azaad froze and blushed a bit. He quickly let Bunga up and sat to the side.
Bunga: So, why are you here Azaad?
Azaad: I came to see Fuli.
Bunga: Oh, that's pretty obvious.
Azaad blushed again.
Azaad: What are you guys doing out here? Where are your friends?
Ono: Kion was kidnapped by Scar. Scar was somehow resurrected from the dead and has acquaintances. He wants to take over the Tree of Life. We were sent out here to locate Kion and obtain any possible information about Scar's plan for attacking the tree.
Azaad: Scar! I know about him! He's the lion in the Pridelands that killed Mufasa right?
Ono: Correct! Then Simba returned and defeated him, reclaiming the Pridelands as the true king.
Azaad: Right!
Bunga: Anyways, have you seen anything suspicious on your way here? We need help in our search.
Azaad: Actually yes. On my way here, I spotted two lions walking towards a secret cave in the mountains not far from here.
Anga: What did they look like?
Azaad: Well, they were both males with dark brown fur and black and brown manes. They seemed to emit an evil feeling upon me.
Bunga: That's them! They are Scar's acquaintances.
Azaad: They captured Kion?
Ono: They helped Scar kidnap Kion in the night. Their names are Cheka and Uovu.
Azaad: I can lead you to them and help you find Kion if you want.
Anga: That would be great! After we get Kion, we can return to the Tree of Life and you can be reunited with Fuli again!
Azaad blushed yet again.
Bunga: Ok! Let's go, Lead the way Azaad!
Azaad: Follow me! Mibinamet!
The four friends headed on their way to rescue Kion, the only way of victory over Scar.
