The two armies clashed in front of the Tree of Life. Fuli and Anga raced in front of the guards and took on 2 leopards. Bunga was dealing with a Komodo dragon. Beshte was engaging multiple dragons in a battle. Ono flew off and was nowhere to be seen. Surak and Nirmala raced ahead and dealt with a leopard and a dragon.
Rani and Baliyo joined the fray and in the midst of all the fighting, Rani spotted Makucha and ran to face him. Makucha was battling Fuli and managed to pin her but is pushed off by a head butt from Rani.
Rani: Makucha!
Makucha: Ah hello Rani! Get ready to die!
Rani growled ferociously as the two felines engaged each other in combat.
Rani swipes at Makucha but he dodges and counterstrikes, knocking Rani down. Despite the hard blow, Rani stood up again and charged at Makucha and managed to land a few blows to his chest, making him stagger back. Rani charged at him once again but Makucha dodged and Rani tripped and fell to the ground.
Taking advantage of the enemies confusion, Makucha leaps on Rani and pins her down. Rani uses her hind legs to push him off of her and then she strikes him in the jaw with her paw.
Rani then looks around and sees that they are losing. Beshte was quickly overwhelmed and bitten by a dragon, immobilizing him. Fuli and Anga are outnumbered and handling 2 leopards as well as several porcupines. Bunga is still struggling against a komodo dragon who is then joined by 2 porcupines. Surak and Nirmala are protecting Baliyo, who was bitten by a dragon. However, they are surrounded by several komodo dragons and Rani ran to help them. A dragon leaped at Baliyo but is pushed away by Rani.
Rani: Everyone regroup!
The entire Lion Guard convene around Baliyo and Beshte, shielding them from the incoming foes.
The 2 guards were surrounded on all sides by the villains.
MB: Haha! What are you going to do now? The Tree of Life is finally ours!
Rani: Never! I will never give up the Tree of Life!
Rani: charged at Mama Binterong but is pinned down by Makucha.
MB: Kill her. Mama Binterong and looks down at Rani, who lay at her mercy. "You have no hope Rani. You are a valiant defender but you weak and outnumbered. Say goodbye!
The Predators started engulfing the Night Pride and Lion Guard and Rani closed her eyes, waiting for the final hit, but it never came.
All eyes turned toward the hill elevated above the battleground. Atop it was Ono hovering next to Kion, the leader of the Lion Guard.
Fuli: Kion, you are here!
Bunga: Ki, a little help here pls?
Rani: Kion! Please help!
Kion looked down at his friends and the situation that they were in and was filled with pure rage and determination. However, he eventually controlled himself and spoke up.
Kion: This ends NOW Makucha! Why are you here?
Makucha: Why Kion! Fancy of you to show up here! You are in perfect time to witness to future queen of the Tree of Life perish!
MB: Don't forget about your helpless friends Kion! You can't do anything about it!
Kion channeled an energy inside him and grew angry and fierce as dark clouds started to form behind him.
Kion: ROAR!!!!!
Kion unleashed his new Roar of the Elders that immediately hid Makucha off of Rani and sent the entire evil army a long distance away.
