Tree of Life (the next day)
Nirmala woke up in her den and yawned. She stretched her legs and walked outside. She had to go meet Kion to resume his healing. However, Nirmala was worried about Kion's healing process, for he was progressing slower than expected.
Nirmala was expecting Kion to be with the Lion Guard still sleeping, but to her great surprise, she didn't find him there. The guard said that he walked off to his place of healing.
Once Nirmala arrived at the River of Patience, she saw Kion waiting there patiently. Kion heard Nirmala approaching and turned around to face her, with a smiling appearing on his face.
Nirmala: Kion?
Kion: I am ready to try again.
Nirmala: That is great to hear Kion. And looks like you can try again right now, look!
Kion turns around to see a log drifting towards him.
Kion: Patience--Patience.
Kion waits until the perfect moment and leaps onto the log and manages to stabilize himself.
Nirmala: Well done Kion!
Kion smiles, but all of a sudden, he loses his balance and falls off the log. Nirmala face grows disgusted and she shakes her head in failure.
However, Kion perseveres and gets onto the log once more.
Kion: Try again.
Kion rides the log down the shore and successfully hops onto the shore. He then runs up the ridge and collects the orange flower in his mouth.
Nirmala: Nicely done Kion! Now bring the flower back to me.
Kion jumps on a log and crosses the river and returns the flower to Nirmala.
Nirmala: Well done Kion on completing your first task and I am happy to say that you have mastered patience. We will resume your healing in the afternoon.
Somewhere else.....
Makucha: You're Scar?!
Ora: Wow, I have heard many legends about you.
Chuluun: You certainly are exactly who you are in the legends.
Scar: Thank you everyone. Now let's get going towards the Tree of Life.
Makucha: Wait, how are we supposed to find the Tree of Life and furthermore, take it over? Kion still has his roar.
Scar: Don't you worry. We have some help. Guys come out!
Two male lions emerged from behind the bushes and came up beside Scar. The first was a lion with black mane the same as Scar and had bloody red eyes. The other one had a dark brown mane and dark blue eyes. They both emitted a great sense of evil, the same as Scar himself.
???: We know the way to the Tree of Life, we were there before. Our names are Cheka and Uovu.
Chuluun: You have been there before? How?
Uovu: We murdered the late king and queen of the Tree of Life named Sahasi and Ananda.....
