You didn't leave me and you promised you never would. Friendship is like a bomb, someone says the wrong thing, and puts the fire towards it and it destroys everything. It destroys things, and most of them are usually fixed after time, but, what if there is no time? - .a.m.

"We'll be friends forever." The thought of Lucy telling me that felt great. I felt so close to her, probably closer to her than any of them. But it was true, we would always be friends forever, all four of us. Lucy was special, there's something about her, I feel like, I can tell her everything, and she wouldn't mention it again, and she could always sense whenever I feel like talking or not, and she always gets the truth out of me no matter what. She is a very caring person, she always shows her appreciation towards other people. As for Ashley, She's great, too. She's like a mini beyonce, with all her style and talent. Fashion is her super power, she'd die for it. I remember one time, when we were in an argument a few years ago, I said something like, "get out of here," or something, and she replied with, "What? Not wearing last months sunglasses." We both laughed and regained our friendship after that. That's what I love about her, she always finds a way to put a smile on my face, no matter what, no matter where, no matter when. And, finally, there's Shay. I could go on for hours about Shay, months even. Her special talent is swimming, she 's great at it. Once in the summer, at the beach, I dropped my hat in the ocean, and it floated for miles. Shay dove in and managed to get it, it was ruined, so she bought me a new one. Shay is the most kind person that you will ever meet, she is wonderful. She never ever shows hate in anyone, unless they are mean to us, her friends. That's the highlight of her, she won't let anyone hurt us.
"Troain?," Ashley said, waving her hand over my face, snapping me back to reality, "Earth to Troain."
"Sorry, I was having a day-dream." I replied, fixing my long brown hair and running my fingers through it.
"Really? What about, Keegan?" Lucy laughed. Keegan was my ultimate crush, since I was nine years old. He has dark hair that falls perfectly into place, and a smile that could kill anyone, it's not the only thing that he can kill with, it's his sharp cheekbones too, and his blue eyes.
"No!," I moaned, "It was about you guys, I was remembering all of the sweet memories we've had and all of the cute little fights, too. I'd sit by my window dramatically, whilst playing sad songs when that happened, acting like we'd really not be friends again, that's a world I wouldn't want to live in."
"Aw, that's so cute! Imagine if we weren't friends though, wow, I wouldn't have got on the swimming team, I wouldn't have overcome my fear of clowns, you guys are my everything." Shay said, pulling us all into a tight hug.
"Ha ha, yeah, I wouldn't have gotten over my ex, I wouldn't have bought those black strappy heels, which, by the way, rock my feet!" Ashley laughed.
"You guys are the best." Lucy comforted us, and pulled us into a tighter hug.
I had Ashley's blonde hair in my face and Shay the other side of me. I held their hands tightly.
"We'll be friends forever," Lucy's voice whispered from the far right of us. We all nodded our heads in agreement.

Later on that day, we were having a movie night with Ashley's boyfriend, Tyler, and Lucy's boyfriend, Ian, and Shay's girlfriend, Bianca. We were going to my house for it. I was so embarrassed because my house is so small and I'm sure that someone there would criticise it. Everyone else has huge houses, well, I'm not surprised, most of them have jobs and Lucy has a career in acting. She starred in the movie 'a Cinderella Story' but that was a few years ago. I had salt and vinegar and cheese and onion walkers crisps placed in a bowl that was set out on the coffee table in front of the T.V. I also had some marshmallows, cola and gummy bears. There was a firm knock on the door. I opened it, and saw Ashley, Ian, Lucy, Shay and Tyler standing on the porch.
I gestured them to come in and I joined them sitting on the couch. Tyler was sitting on the armchair and Ashley sat on his knees with her arm around the back of his neck. Bianca and Shay were sharing the arm chair opposite them, and Lucy was next to me on the couch with her boyfriend, Ian. And I was a few metres away from Ian and Lucy on the couch. That's it. Nobody else. I was the third wheel. Once again. I sat there, awkwardly giving a fake grin.
"So, what's the movie we're watching?" Tyler asked, after he kissed Ashley's head sweetly.
"Oooh! Can we watch sci-fi? please?" Lucy begged. She is obsessed with thriller and mystery sort of movies and things.
"Now, now now! Before we start protesting, we should just choose the easy way!" Ian moaned in a joking manner.
Ashley rolled her daunting blue eyes, "And what's that? Asking everyone in America what film we should watch out of 'Teenage Mutant Ninga Turtles' or 'Lord of the Rings'?"
"Let's watch Lord of The Rings!" Shay announced, as the majority of people nodded their heads agreeing.
"Thanks, Ash," Ian said sarcastically, "But no, the easy way to this is to just watch 'A Cinderella Story!" That was the movie that Lucy had gotten a part in after every-day rehearsals and auditions, she ended up getting the lead role! Lucy has always been a great actress.
Lucy looked up at him and smiled. "Since this is MY house, I'll choose," I began, looking through our cabinets for some DVD's, "Ah-a! Mean Girls! A classic!"
Everyone except from Ashley was frowning at me. She started clapping her hands together with a huge smile on her face, "You have that?" She squealed, "Yes, yes, yes! Put it on, Tro!"
"And what about us boys?" Tyler moaned.
"And me. I've seen that about a MILLION times. It gets boring, and it just remind you of how depressing high school is!" Lucy joined him, followed by Ian.
"I thought you said, 'no protesting...'," I intimated Ian with a high voice.
"That was before you pulled out Mean Girls!"
"Guys!" Ashley silenced us, "Can't we just agree on something? Seriously."
"Fine! You know what, fine! Put Mean Girls on, but don't mind me snoring!" Tyler shouted.
"Thank you, Tyler. Does everyone agree?" I began.
"Bu-" Lucy started to make a moaning voice and face.
"Does everyone agree?" I repeated.
"Sure, whatever."
I played the movie and sat down again. I looked around at everyone. Ashley sat focused to the television and slowly putting popcorn in her mouth. Tyler, beside her, sat looking bored with his elbow resting on the arm of the armchair. Lucy and Ian were all snuggled up, and Shay and Bianca were both already sleeping.
'That is so fetch!' spoke the television. Most people burst out laughing including me.
