>>Alison's POV<<
I sat on the bench outside of the store waiting for Shay to come back I guess. I had nothing else to do. I bought Shay an early Christmas present but I already wrapped it. It was Lana Del Rey's recent album and a pair of jeans.
After a whole hour and 45 minutes of waiting, texting and calling Shay, I saw her running towards me. I couldn't believe she actually came back. I didn't know whether to be happy or sad - all I knew was, Shay looked surprised that I was still waiting.
It didn't matter, for whatever reason she took so long, it doesn't matter. I just needed to tell her how much I loved her and how I hated it when she avoided me ever since that kiss. I thought she liked me. Why would anyone? Why do I always think things wrong? If I feel happy once, it's like, the other person was happy too, but life wants to be a thing and ruin it out of the blue and it always leaves me hanging like this.
I stood up, as Shay stood beside me now. I kept a straight face, looking a bit pissed off but I had every right to be.
"Ali, I'm sorry I took so long, you see, Ty-"
"I don't care." I interrupted her. "I don't care what caused you to be this late, I need to talk to you." I stared into her green mixed with amber eyes, causing me to feel a bit dizzy.
"Well, shouldn't we not do it here then?"
I sighed, "I suppose. I mean I've already spent half of my day here." I giggled. "Where do we go then?"
"Uh, I don't know, my car?" She suggested.
"I guess."
I followed her out to her now unlocked car and sat in the passengers seat. Shay shut my door for me once I had sat down. When she kneeled down to perch on her seat, I couldn't help staring at her butt. Okay, I'm not a pervert but it was in my face. We were now all comfortable.
"Well, what did you want to tell me?"
"Um, Well, the thing is, I..." I stuttered, almost sweating. She was looking at me, just staring. I didn't know if I could do this. No, no, no Ali, do it. Do it. I took a deep breath. "I wanted to talk about the kiss."
"Yeah, you told me before." Shay said awkwardly.
"...Did I?" I pretended, stalling her.
"Yeah."
"Okay..."
It fell silent for a minute.
"Well?"
"Oh! Oh! Yes." My eyes widened. "That sounded wrong."
Shay sighed. "Please, what were you going to tell me?"
"Okay, okay. The kiss." I closed
my eyes and then they opened again. "Well, I have a few questions for you."
"Go for it."
"Right. Firstly, about the kiss, did you...enjoy it?" I wanted to kill myself. I was so fucking ugh.
Shay laughed nervously. I could tell this was an awkward subject for her. "What do you mean...enjoyed the kiss or...you?"
I meant to say me, I really really did but I couldn't. "Oh, um. The kiss."
"Well, I guess it was okay."
Okay? Okay? I kiss the hell out of that girl, pretending I wasn't in public toilets, pretending I was in frickin neverland in a world full of rainbows and all of my love for her in that kiss and it was 'okay?' I didn't know how to respond.
"...Yeah." I smiled fakely. "So, question two; the kiss, did you want it?"
"Want it? From you or just sexually?"
From fucking me.
"Just sexually."
"Yes."
...
"Okay." I continued. "And lastly, if there could be someone else in there you were kissing, who'd it be? Or would you stick with me?"
She thought about this one. I bet she was going to say 'Justin Beiber' when she needed to say, 'you, Ali.
"Um..." She tapped her chin. "Probably Lana Del Rey."
We both laughed but I didn't want it to be this way.
"So, was that all?"
"Um..." I thought, should I just come clean to her and tell her how I feel? "No."
Shay raised her eyebrows. " Oh, really?" She came closer, and I swear it felt like I was having a heart transplant but I was awake, very awake. "You can tell me," her voice went slower and quieter now, "anything."
She was staring into my eyes so hard that I felt paralysed. Completely and utterly paralysed. I didn't say anything. She was making me nervous and she was just too close. She was waiting for me to speak but my eyes were fixated on, her. The way each strand of her wavy hair fell perfectly in to place and how her eyes are so big and bold, you can tell she has a story. I knew she was still waiting but I just kept staring.
I was about to, to lean in and kiss her again when...
"Ali, don't be afraid, come here!" She pulled me into a tight hug. I loved the feeling being right here holding her in my arms so much that a single tear came rolling down my cheek. I hugged her tighter.
"You're beautiful, you know that, right?" She said to me.
"No, I'm not..."
"Yes, you are." She said. "Any guy would be lucky to have you. You're beautiful and you're special."
We pulled apart, I sniffled but went straight for her. My lips collided with hers and she didn't stop me so I figured she was allowing it. I ran my fingers through her hair and smiled. She kissed back powerfully and slid through the gap in the front seats to the back seats and soon after I fell with her.
My body was pressed against hers on the back seats, we continued kissing.
I grabbed the handles of all the sun blockers on the windows that were black and plastic so nobody could see through, and kissed her again.
She ran her hand down my spine. We lay there for minutes just kissing.

10 minutes later
I sat up and fixed my messy hair. I smiled at Shay who replied with the same. Her lipstick was smudged as was mine probably.
"That was. . ." Shay said awkwardly. "So what did you want to tell me?"
Was she seriously asking about that now? I sighed. "Well, I just told you...physically."
"Oh," She laughed. "I get it now."
