>>Lucy's POV<<

Once Shay and Alison had exited the toilets, we were all wondering what they were talking about, but I figured it would be rude to have asked. I sipped my lemonade, squinting my eyes at the tangy taste. I felt and heard my stomach rumble really loud. I needed food.

"Ugh, can we order this stinkin' food?" I complained, sighing.

"Sure..." Troian scrunched her eyebrows at me. "Are you sure you're not worked up about something, Lucy?"

I rolled my eyes. I really was. Everything, the anxiousness of everything. Troian thinks that we can have a bite to eat and instantly be friends again, that's gonna take time. I also have exams to study for after the vacation and that's stressful, AND COLLEGE TO APPLY TO. There's no point, I'll probably just get rejected anyway. "I'm fine." I glanced at her before I took yet another gulp of my lemonade, this time letting the cold liquid sliver down my throat leaving nothing left in the glass.

"Okay, let's look at this menu then. . ." Ashley rubbed her hands together and licked her lips. She picked up the adults menu and flicked through pages within it, I decided to do the same.

"Oooh." Ashley spoke in a high pitched voice, "The spaghetti carbonara looks incredible, it's only two ninety eight."

"Wait, are we ordering starters first or just going straight into the main?" Alison asked.

"Hmm, well, we don't have that much money, let's just go with the main." Shay replied, to keep staring at Alison. There was definatley something up with them both, they keep exchanging weird looks. I decided not to let it bother me.

"Awwh. I was looking at the garlic bread pizza as well." Ashley pouted and looked disapointed.

"I think I'll have the beef lasagne." I say to Shay, she nods.

Shay spoke to everyone shortly after that, "So, has anyone else decided on what they're having?"

"The salad with carrot." Troian smiled with her elbow on the table and her chin resting on the palm of her hand.

"Who has carrot with salad?" Alison looked confused.

"I know, what the hell?" Shay agreed.

Ashley joined, "That's like the wo-"

"Okay," Shay interrupted. "Who else? Ali?"

"Uh, I'm not hungry."

"What? Just have something." Shay moaned, her eyebrows scrunched and her arms folded.

"No, it's fine I'm not hungry!" Alison replies, laughing a bit.

"Come on," I say, "You were excited to come here, you got all dressed up and everything to just sit here and argue? I say to order something."

"Yeah, it's okay, we have enough money if that's it." Shay said softly.

"Ugh, alright then!" Alison held her arms up. "I guess I'll just get the Italian soup of the day then."

"What about you?" Ashley asked looking at Shay.

"Oh, I'm having the lobster."

"Do we actually have enough money between us to get a lobster?"

"Yeah, I checked." Shay replied. "Okay, Let's just wait for someone to come..."

"Um, well, thanks, by the way, Alison."  Ashley glared at Alison with her eyes twinkling. Alison sat slouched in her seat in the corner with red rosy cheeks and a face showing embarrassment. She replied with a brief smile.

"So, have you done any studying yet?" Troian asked.

"Tro," I spoke, "Let's not talk about that. We're here to regain our friendship."

"Yeah but to do that we need to build up a conversation, get some laughs going." Troian replied, raising her eyebrows.

"Yeah, Troian's right." Shay announced.

"So, have you guy-" Ashley was interrupted.

"Are you guys ready to order?" I looked up and saw the same man standing at the end of the table beside me, holiding a small notebook and a pen.

"Oh!" Shay startled. "Yeah, uh, a beef lasagne, the carrot salad, the lobster and um, spaghetti carbonara."

"Fantastic!" The man began to walk away.

"Uh, Shay?" Alison raised one eyebrow. "You forgot to get mine."

"Shit, what was yours again?" Shay looked annoyed.

"...The soup of the day, remember?"

"Oh yeah! Let me catch him up!"

Shay scurried out of the table and I stood to let her out. Then sat back down again. We heard her talking to the man and she soon returned, panting.

"Hoh! It's done."

Alison chuckled, "Thank you."

"Okay, anyway, what were you going to say, Ash?" I asked her.

"Oh, yeah." She realized. "Have you guys applied for colleges yet?"

"I have." Troian smiled at us looking proud of herself.

That panicked at that sentence. She has already applied? I know it's Troian but it made me come to realization at that point, I really haven't been focusing on that; the camp, Troian, Alison - that's ALL I have been thinking about. It's senior year after the summer - my face went red - 3 WEEKS! I SHOULD BE ACCEPTED BY NOW! Now all my mind was on was that, I'm screwed.

"You?" Ashley looked at me, my face now turned purple and I was having difficulty breathing for some reason.

"Uh, Uh ... I mean," I stuttered, god I'm so stupid. "Yeah"

"Cool."

I hate lying, ugh, I HATE IT.

"I have too." Alison proudly said.

"Me too!" Shay called.

"Great, I ... have too!" Ashley finished.

"So..." Troian spoke, "Okay, we need to build our friendship, it's not gonna work this way..."

"Uh, I just said that..." I pointed out.

"It doesn't matter!"
