>>Shay's POV<<
I opened my eyes slowly and looked at the end of the bed. I could feel that my hair was messy and I still had last night's make up on. I rubbed my eyes and lifted the blue and white duvet cover revealing my long baggy pale pink pyjama trousers and my white tank top. I rubbed my arms from the cold and slipped on a grey jumper and headed downstairs.
I stepped into the kitchen and I was surprised that my mom was already awake.
"Morning." I spoke causing my mom to turn.
"Morning!" She handed me a few pancakes that had been sizzling away on the pan for a few minutes. They had steam waving off of the top of them and my mouth watered at the look and smell of them.
I placed them on the kitchen table and sat down behind them after thanking my mom. I licked my lips and rubbed my hands together in delight. I didn't know where to start. My eyes were fixated on the three pancakes that were stacked up one after one. I took my knife and fork and cut a piece off of the first pancake and let it slide down my throat and I smiled after. "These are amazing, mom!" I wolfed the rest down quickly and then poured myself some orange juice to set them.
Then, I dashed upstairs after thinking about getting ready and having loads of time as it was only about half eight. I agreed to, because I love when I don't have to rush when I'm getting ready. I always end up leaving the house with shaky eye liner and lipstick looking like Miranda Sings.
I went to my private bathroom and groaned. I've always wanted to be a morning person, but I never will be.
Firstly, I took a very quick shower and dried my hair. I washed my face with water and soap and then patted it with a pink towel. I put my hair into a quick bun, and then, contoured my face (which by the way took ten minutes). Then, put some foundation on and lined my lips with a light pink and colored it in with the same shade of lipstick. It reminded me of when you were little and you'd get those coloring books that you literally couldn't go over the lines. After, I blushed my cheeks and made a perfect wing on my lash line with a thin coat of black eye liner,( it was on point), and finished with some mascara.
I smiled at my achievement and stumbled over to my wardrobe and tapped my chin, deciding on what to wear today. I finally picked a pale pink dress that went down to just below my knees, white flats that had little silver bows on the toes, a pearl necklace and diamond studded earrings.
I looked in the mirror and swayed from side to side.
Just then, my phone screen lit up and music was blasting from it. I recognised the music as I had set it as Ashley's ringtone.
I picked up the phone and put it to my ear.
"Hello?" I spoke first.
"Hi." Ashley replied.
"Why did you call?"
"Are you in the middle of something?"
"No, well, I don't know. What is it?"
"Well, um, the thing is-"
"Ash, please don't tell me you're on the floor of that nightclub."
"No, I-"
"Because once I went there and, had a major hangover, one of the staff came out and was all like, 'GET THE HELL UP STUPID TE-"
"Shay!" She shouted. "I'm trying to tell you something!"
"Sorry." I said embarrassed. "Tell me, what's happening?"
She took a deep breath. "Okay, I'm going to tell you something - but you can't tell anyone else. I mean anyone!"
"Okay. I won't."
