>>Troain's POV<
Walking in the woods reminded me of Keegan. The way he glares at me and his eyes sparkle, or the way he smiles and my face goes all red, even the way he talks, it just makes me feel special, even if he's not even talking about me.
Me and Lucy stumbled past rocks and twigs, trying to find Shay and Ashley, because we had lost them on the way.
"Ugh, god, I hate the woods. I swear if I step on one more worm I'll-"
"Stop it!" I interuptted.
"Stop what?" Lucy replied, pulling tree branched from above her head.
"Being a downer." I began, laughing a little. "Look, the woods isn't all that bad..."
Lucy gave me a 'ya serious' look. "Says you. You only like it because you have good memories here. The memory I remember was banging my head against a tree when I was five."
"What? I haven't had 'good' memories here, I'm just saying that the woods is-"
"The good memory you have here is the first time that Keegan got inside of you."
What did she just say?
"Um, what the hell, Lucy!" I said disgusted. "Nothing even happened we just talked."
"So you sa-ay..." She said sarcastically.
"Anyway...back to the point." I glared at her. "The woods is a great place because it's so peaceful and there's beautiful nature everywhere around you, the way the grass smells, the way the birds chirp, it's all so...incredible."
She squinted her eyes. "Tro, I didn't ask for a formal speech for gods sake."
"Okay, okay!" I giggled. "Anyway, let's not complain about the world, after all, it's the world, where we are given life, we should respe-"
"Shut up!" Lucy interrupted, and we laughed together for a while.
We kept walking until we spotted Ashley and Shay in the distance, and we soon caught up with them.
"Oh, god!" Shay said sounding relieved. "There you are!"
"There we are?" Lucy moaned, folding her arms across her chest. "You two were the ones that got lost."
My eyes were just about shutting because I was so tired from circling the whole woods twice.
"Whatever, guys. Let's just go home. " I grumbled, rubbing my eyes.
"Well, actually we were going to grab some food at the ca-" I interrupted Ashley.
"Please," I started. "Let's go home."
Shay frowned her eyebrows. "Are you okay, Tro?"
I seriously could not be bothered explaining the many reasons why I am not okay, I have a history exam tomorrow, an English essay is due which I didn't even write, P.E first period, Keegan, My over loaded mind, my tired brain, I just can't be bothered.
"Yes!" I said with a moody tone. "Please, let's go!" I started turning from my friends. I felt Lucy's hand touch my back.
"Wait!" She exclaimed.
"Why are you acting like this?" Shay said with a curious look on her face.
I was this close to punching my friends. They haven't done anything wrong I just don't want to talk and they keep asking questions.
I sighed. "I'm fine! I'm just tired, let's GO!" I shouted.
"You were fine when it was just us, Tro." Lucy said softly.
I glanced at my disappointed-looking friends.
"Troain?" Ashley said sounded concerned. "Is there something wrong with us?"
No, no, no. I didn't mean for them to think this, I just can't-
"Tro!" Shay yelled, snapping me back to reality."Do you even care?"
"Of course I do, I just-"
"Cause' it doesn't really sound like it..." Shay finished. The girls took one last glance at me and then they turned their backs to me and started walking away.
What have I done? I've ruined everything just because I was so god damn selfish.
"Guys! Guys, wait!" I shouted as loud as I could, but they just ignored me. Soon, I gave up and started walking home.
I've ruined everything.
