Chapter 40 - Lunch

Rielle's POV:

My heart raced as we approached the executive's suite. Sabay kame sa elevator but she's ignoring me na talagang ramdam ko ang galit nito. Nauna siya sa pagpasok sa suite at dumiretcho sa desk flipping her her at sumandal ito sa gilid ng desk. Na nakikita mong nagtitimpi dahil sa buntong hiningang pinakawalan nito.

"Hey, baby what's wrong?" pagkasara ko ng pinto sa likod ko.

Elix turned sharply, her expression a mix of anger and hurt. "We need to talk," she declared, gesturing to me to take a seat on the plush leather couch but I didn't sit, instead I held her by her shoulders feeling a sense of tension in the air.

"Talk about what?"

She sighed rolling her eyes on me, "I saw Ash when she's flirting with you."

My eyes widened in surprise. "Flirting? Elix, she's your sister, and we were just talking about work. You know I would never—"

She interrupted me, her frustration evident. "I know. But can't you see? She's trying to get your attention, and it's driving me crazy. I can't stand the thought of her trying to steal you away."

I took a deep breath, realizing the depth of her jealousy. "Baby, no one could ever steal me away from you. You're the one I love, and Ash is just trying to find her way out para hindi na natin siya kulitin about company matters. Trust me, escape goat lang niya yun and look she won you over."

"Are you invalidating my jealousy?"

"No baby. Imagine she's your sister and she's well aware that we're in a relationship. Plus, her presence doesn't affect me the way yours does."

Her eyes softened, but a hint of jealousy lingered. "I just want to make sure you're mine, and mine alone."

Hinawakan ko ang dalawa niyang pisngi at pinatingin sa mga mata ko. "You have nothing to worry about. You're the only one I want, honey."

Tumitig siya sa akin at ngumiti ng kaunti "I can't help it hon, you know? I just get so possessive when it comes to you."

I chuckled, feeling the tension dissipate. "Well, maybe a little possessiveness can be charming, but let's find a way to deal with it without the anger, okay?"

Tumango tango naman ito, her gaze locking onto me. "I'll work on it, but right now, all I want to do is make sure you know how much I love you."

Pagkarining ko nun ay niyakap ko siya at hinaplos haplos ang kanyang likod. "I love you, more than anything." pagkasabi nun ay hinalikan ko ang kayang noo.

"I have a question babe..."

"Ask away.."

"I-Ilang anak ang gusto mo?"

Napaubo ako sa tanong niya. I didn't expect her to ask that question out of the blue. Feeling ko pinamulahan ako ng mukha dahil don.

"Why did you ask, hon?"

"Coz I want to have a baby with you." yumakap naman ito sa batok ko habang nakangiti.

"Hmmm, ilan ba ang kaya mo, hon?"

"Kahit tatlo?"

"Isang dalahan mo lang yun hon.."

Napakunot siya ng noo. "Pano?"

"Hon, triplets kayo remember? Malaki ang chance na magkaroon tayo ng triplets sa first pregnancy mo."

"You think so?" nakangiti niyang tanong.

Tumango tango naman ako. "Gawin na natin?" tanong ko sa kanya habang pataas taas pa ng kilay.

Hinampas ako nito sa braso, "We just did it last night not just once but multiple times honey. Don't start." she rolled her eyes at tsaka niya ko tinalikuran.

"Why? I want to do it now. Can I?" I'm teasing her while closing my lips to her lips.

"No.." inilayo niya ang mukha niya sa mukha ko at saka tinudyo tudyo and tungki ng ilong ko. "Let's go back to work. Let my body rest for now. You made it sore last night, I still need to recover." nakatitig ito sa mata ko at saka ako inirapan.

"Baby, you're still walking. Grabe ka sakin sa recover na yan. Akala mo talaga di ka na nakalakad." I said while pouting.

"Why? Are you planning to make me lame?" nakataas ang kilay niyang tanong.

"No... I still have you in my mercy." nakangiti kong saad.

Matalim itong tumitig sa akin kaya natawa naman ako sa kanyang reaksiyon.

"I'm just kidding babe. Wag ka nang magalit." I winked at her. "Sige na pala, let's go back to work na kung ayaw mo kong pagbigyan." May pagtatampo kong saad. Agad namang lumambot ang ekspresyon ng kanyang mukha.

"Babe..." tawag niya sa akin. "You can take me anytime you want but not just now, hm? Meron kasi akong meeting in an hour.." pagpapaliwanang niya.

Ngumiti naman ako. "No worries baby, I understand. You're all mine and I can always wait. It's just that, I can't resist your beauty." hinalikan kong muli ito sa noo at niyakap ng mahigpit.

"I love you." nakangiti niyang sabi. "Anyway hon, I'll be home late tonight. My meeting will be in Taguig. I have to meet three business tycoons for our expansion." aniya nang lumayo siya sa pagkakkayakap ko sa kanya.

"I love you the most, baby. Do you want me to drive you there?"

"No need, you have a meeting with the finance team right?" kinalabit niya pa ang ilong ko.

Tumango naman ako. "Share with me your location so I could see where you are. I will fetch you later nalang po."

"Alrighty, hon."

Pagkatapos nun ay bumalik na din kami sa office. Bago siya umalis papuntang meeting ay inaya ko muna siyang maglunch kasama si Supernova at si Ash sa isang restaurant malapit sa opisina.

Nakaupo kami malapit sa glass window ng restaurant. Kakatapos lang namin maghanap ng makakain sa menu at saka umorder.

"Supernova, can I ask a question?" tanong ni Ash

"What?"

"You're too young. I wonder what else you do aside from having an underground mission from your organization?"

"Nothing. Just enjoying life, I guess."

"Don't you have plans to continue your study? You said you finished your high school year, right?" singit naman ng asawa kong si Elix.

"I don't have much time for study. I can't do that when I'm taking missions."

"How about having a boyfriend? Why are you still single?" tanong muli ni Ash.

"I don't do relationships. I'm happy being single."

"Kunsabagay, you're still young." sambit naman ni Ash.

"Nasaan na pala yung mga friends mo na nagsundo sa akin nung nakalaya na ako sa mga armadong lalaki?" tanong ko naman. Matagal ko nang gustong itanong yun ngunit di ko lang matyempuhan na makausap itong muli.

"They're on their own. I only call them if needed."

"So you still have mission here kaya di ka pa nauwi?" muli kong tanong.

"Yes."

"I se–" naputol ang sasabihin ko nang may isang lalaki ang biglang lumapit sa kinauupuan namin na may hawak ng tray ng pagkain.
