Third Person's POV:

"Boss, malapit mo nang makamit ang magiging asawa mo sa sandaling panahon na lamang." tumatawa ang isa sa mga tauhan ko.

"Well, well, well. Ash will be mine soon. Gusto kong ihanda mo ang pinaka magarbong kasal sa lalong madaling panahon. Dahil pag nandito na siya, nais ko siyang pakasalan para wala nang makakaagaw pa."

Nagkakasiyahan sila ng mga oras na yun. Maraming alak sa mesa kung saan silang lahat ay nagtitipon pag sila ay nagkakasiyahan.

"To Marconi's wedding!" saad ng isa sa mga snipers niya.

At sabay sabay silang nag sigaya at nagsigawan "To Marconi's wedding!"

In the middle of our party I heard my phone buzzing, and when I glanced at the screen. The caller ID displayed "Supernova." My heart raced; I had heard of this mysterious figure. Supernova was rumored to be an undefeated warrior, a living legend, and her name was synonymous with fear. I raised my hand to silence the crowd to answer the call. When the encrypted video screen blinked to life, revealing Supernova's piercing brown eyes, I couldn't help but feel a chill run down my spine. My fingers tapped restlessly on the polished mahogany desk in my luxurious abode.

"Marconi," Supernova began, her voice carrying a quiet, yet unmistakable threat. "I hear you have something of great value within your grasp. I have a proposition for you, Marconi. Release the captive named Rielle."

I leaned forward, trying to project an air of confidence. "Supernova, you speak of Rielle, the wife of Ash. She's a captive for us to lure her wife out and be my wife. And why should I even consider your request? You're not in a position to make demands."

Supernova's lips curled into a sly smile. "Don't play games with me, Marconi. Ash is the true daughter of one of the wealthiest families from France, taken from them as a child. I want you to forget about her, and I want you to release Rielle unharmed. Her wife is Ash's twin and not her."

My brow furrowed. I had no intention of negotiating with anyone, even someone with Supernova's reputation. I should at least try to converse with her with power, "And why should I do that? She was given to us as payment for her father's debt to our clan. It's non-negotiable. She's our collateral, our leverage. We can't simply let Ash go."

"Ash is no longer part of your clan's business, you heard me. Her involvement is over." Supernova's expression remained cool and her eyes unwavering. "I'm giving you a choice, Marconi. You can release Rielle and merge your clan with one of my allies for protection, or I will personally ensure the complete and utter destruction of your clan. The choice is yours."

"But, Supernova, merging our clans is a complex decision," I stammered, his voice quivering. "I need time to consider."

"You have until tomorrow to release Rielle and promise to forget about Ash. If you don't, you'll witness firsthand the extent of my wrath. As for the merger, this is your only chance, Marconi. I don't make offers twice." Her eyes bore into me like daggers.

My jaw clenched. I wasn't accustomed to threats, but Supernova was not just anybody. "You think I fear you? You're just one woman."

Her tone grew even colder, and it was as if the temperature in the room had dropped several degrees. "You're right, Marconi. I'm just one woman. One woman who has taken down entire syndicates, crushed powerful empires, and left a trail of destruction in my wake. I am not just a legend. I am a living, breathing force of nature. I have crushed clans far mightier than yours, and I will do the same to you if necessary."

I remained defiant, though my heart raced. "Your bravado won't save you here. The Marconi clan doesn't bow to anyone."

Supernova's voice, still eerily calm, continued. "Very well, Marconi. If you choose not to release Rielle, I will do more than just defeat your clan. I will obliterate it. Everything you've built will turn to ashes, and your empire will crumble."

I felt a drop of sweat trickle down my temple. This was no ordinary conversation; it was a battle of wills, and Supernova's will seemed unbreakable.

"Why should I believe you'll spare us if I release Rielle?" I questioned, my pride still stubbornly holding on.

She replied with ruthless determination, "Because, Marconi, the world knows I'm ruthless, but I'm also true to my word. I will protect her with my life if necessary, and all I ask in return is that you step aside. Let me be clear. You have two choices. Release Rielle and avoid the destruction of your entire clan, or refuse and face utter annihilation. Again, the choice is yours."

It was a difficult decision, but the weight of my responsibility as the clan leader pressed down on me. In a moment of surrender, I finally admitted, "Fine, Supernova. I will release Rielle, and I'll agree to your terms. You win."

Her response was chillingly simple, "Good choice, Marconi. Remember this moment, for you owe your clan's continued existence to my mercy."

I hung up the phone, my hands trembling as the realization hit me. Supernova was not just a legend; she was a force of nature, and I had no choice but to bow to her will if I wanted to save my clan from total destruction. I couldn't help but feel a deep sense of relief, even as I pondered the implications of the goddess's involvement. In the criminal underworld, fear was the currency, and Supernova had just made a sizable deposit.

But the sadness in my heart remains like shit that continuously hits me in pain. I really adored Ash from the beginning but the revelation of her true identity strikes my ego that hard. She's not an ordinary girl. She's an heiress. Poor girl, she lived in hell where her father dragged into it without a choice.

"Listen everyone. We will retreat in finding Ash. Release our captive at dawn."

My men silenced with confusion in their eyes.

"But boss, we're almost there to get her." I didn't hesitate to shoot him in the head.

"I won't repeat myself. No more questions or you're dead! Party is over!"
