Chapter 2 - She's Home

Elix's POV:

I was sitting in front of my laptop. When suddenly Shayne walked in. My best friend who always listened to all of my worries.

"Hey Paris! How are you holding up? "

"What are you doing here Shayne?" Gulat ko sa pagdating nito. Ang alam ko kasi ay nasa France ito for her modeling career.

"I went home last night. I heard that Rielle will be back one of these days."

"Yeah, you heard it right. Kanino mo nalaman?"

She rolled her eyes. "Your employees. I heard them talking in the elevator. They are talking about her. Was she really hot and sexy?" curious nitong tanong.

Tinitigan ko siya sa sinabi nito. Nagkunot naman ang noo ko sa huling pangungusap nito.

"I haven't seen her for a while. I have no idea what she looks like now."

Hindi ko pa nga siya ulit nakikita. Her therapist wants me to be away from her temporarily while she's having her treatment.

"But how about before you first saw her?" umupo ito sa swivel chair sa harap ng desk ko at lumapit pa ito ng kaunti para lang marinig ang sasabihin ko.

"Yes. I can't deny her charm." tipid kong sabi. I also remember the day when she cornered me inside the bathroom. Her touches and kisses still lingers within me. Muntik nang may mangyari sa amin noon.

She paused for a moment pero kuminang naman ang mga mata nito kalaunan sa sinabi ko. "Really? Can I see her when she comes back?"

Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin "You can but how can you do that? Di ka naman niya kilala?"

"I'll introduce myself! Not a problem!" She rolled her eyes.

"No!" I disagreed.

"Why not?" tumaas pa ang kilay nito while crossing her legs sa pag-upo.

"Kung ano yung pinaplano mo, don't dare."

"What do you mean? I'm not planning anything." sinabi nito habang tinitingnan ang mahahaba niyang mga kuko.

Alam kong mahilig ito sa mga magagandang bisexual and wants to get laid. I don't want Rielle to touch even her nails. I know how impulsive and dominant Rielle is, like what Lexa told me. She warned me that her wife is too good when it comes to bed. Maisip ko pa lang ang possibility when she met Shayne, nanlalamig na ang buong katawan ko. Ugh I can't imagine my bestfriend with her!

"Aren't you busy Shayne? Kasi ako busy ako. Ang dami ko pang need pirmahan." pagtataboy ko sa kanya.

Inirapan naman ako nito. "I want to see your future wife." she winked at me tsaka siya tumayo at umalis ng office ko.

Napaisip ako sa huli nitong sinabi. Though I should act as her wife in front of everybody, still I'm worried. How can I face her? It's been a year since we last saw each other. Am I ready to see her? Is she ready to see me? I'm afraid na baka sa muli naming pagkikita ay bumalik ang sakit na nararamdaman niya. I don't want to be the cause of her pain, not exactly the main reason pero ang sakit namang isipin na maaaring ako ang maging dahilan ng paglalim ng sakit na pwede niyang maramdaman. Sumandal ako sa upuan ko at hinilot ang noo ko. I worry too much.

Maya maya pa ay niligpit ko na ang gamit ko para makauwi. I have to prepare her unit dahil malapit na itong umuwi doon. The unit was transferred to her name and all the properties that Lexa owns like what she wants before she dies. I prepared all the documents para mailagay ang lahat ng iyon sa pangalan ni Rielle bago pa man dumating yung confrontation namen.

Lexa has properties in different provinces even in Manila and other countries such as resorts, malls, gaming development and Sinclair's BPO branches around the world. I'm taking over Sinclair's for now but will plan to transfer it to Rielle afterwards. I also have my own company to manage kaya di ko kakayanin itong magisa. I only trust one of my executives on my behalf to help me run my Insurance company for the meantime since I need to focus on Sinclair's first.

Aside from Insurance we also run Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality (AR/VR) Development, Chemical Manufacturing and Artificial Intelligence. Ang iba dito ay si Daddy pa ang nagma-manage but will soon retire because of his age.

Agad akong dumiretcho sa condo unit ni Lexa and Rielle to make sure malinis ito bago pa man umuwi si Rielle. I've been living next to their unit dahil ito lang ang building na accessible sa Sinclair's. As I opened and closed the door, I was surprised that Rielle was sitting on the sofa. Nakasandal ang ulo nito sa sandalan at nakatingala sa kisame wari mo'y nakapikit ito.

She's wearing a black leather jacket and a white spaghetti strap inside. She paired it with black pants and boots. Nakita ko din ang maleta nito sa tabi ng sofa. 'She's home.'

Napahinto ako nang makita ko siya. Hindi ko maigalaw ang mga paa ko hanggang sa umangat ang ulo nito para tingnan ako. Nakita ko ang pagkagulat niya nang makita ako sa pinto ng unit niya. Halatang hindi niya inaasahan ang makita ako.

This is now or never. She's finally home. Ano kayang magiging buhay naming dalawa after everything happened? I was too occupied sa pagiisip, di rin ako makagalaw sa kinatatayuan ko knowing her eyes are looking at me intently.
