𝐶ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝐹𝑖𝑣𝑒

The train pulled into Hogwarts Station, I could see the majestic Hogwarts castle in the distance. It was everything I had imagined it to be and and sounds of this magical place. I stepped off the train, taking in the sights and sounds of this magical place.as the train pulled into Hogsmeade Station.

On our way here we ate too many sweets on the train before arriving that I haven't had in years. I know one thing for sure, Lee would murder me if she knew. we were gathering our things and we were already in our robes.

We made our way to the castle, I couldn't help but feel grateful for this opportunity. It was a chance to not only learn about magic, but also to grow as a person and make lifelong friends with Harry and maybe with the others I met.

We were greeted by a stern-faced witch in emerald green robe, who introduced herself as Professor McGonagall. She led us to the Entrance Hall and then to the Great Hall, where the Sorting Ceremony was about to begin. The door swung open, ready to be selected to our houses.

couldn't help but feel nervous as I watched the students before me get sorted into their respective houses but nevertheless, I am still hyped. I'd like to go into the house Harry might be in. Then again, my parents... I said, shaking my head from overthinking. The Sorting Hat will decide that, and I'll have to be ready for it.I couldn't help but think about my parents and the house they would want me to be in.

The Sorting Ceremony is about to start. The first one I knew who got up on the chair was Hermione, then the same blonde boy I saw on the train named Draco, whom Harry rejected to become friends with not a moment long. Then it was finally me. She called my name, 'Y/N LUMINHOOD' and I took a deep breath and sat on the chair.
The Sorting Hat was placed on my head, it seemed to come alive.The minute the it was on my head, it went with surprise.

'Ahhha Luminhood, an shapeshifter to all creatures--- magical and non magic,' it exclaimed in surprise. 'Haven't seen one of those in years'
The crowd began to whisper and chatter.

'A Luminhood?'
'She's really an animal shifter"
'That's new'
'Never seen one before'

I smiled widely as the Sorting Hat deliberated, knowing deep down that this was where I was meant to be , tho I still turned in all of the shades of red, feeling proud of who I am, that I could feel that I pulled off a dog tail again because of my abilities behind me where the professors would definitely see it,which is embarrassing , I'm still getting the hang of controlling my powers The Sorting Hat continued.

The Sorting Hat paused in its humming. 'A spirit and mind with a big heart... Hufflepuff, perhaps? Yet so much mischief, like a Slytherin...'

My tail wagged furiously and then stopped shortly after he mentiones hufflepuff , not that its a bad thing but I always looked up to Gryffindors . 'Well, that's weak,' I blurted out without thinking. Oh my god , why did I say that.

'Well, well, well. A touch of audacity, aren't we?' The Sorting Hat chuckled. 'But Weak, you say? Being sorted in Slytherin or Hufflepuff isn't all bad.' The Hat spoke .

I looked up, my cheeks burning. 'You heard that...'  the crowd of students would think I look down upon them when it was a little on myself of being in the house.

'Indeed,' the Hat replied. 'Your bluntness, while startling, speaks volumes. It seems your heart yearns for adventure, for bravery, much hope and for a touch of the unknown...'

'GRYFFINDOR!' After what felt like an eternity to be sorted , at last he shouts out my house .

I felt my chest scream from all this overwhelming joy. I let out a whoop of joy as I joined next to Granger while everyone was sorted. 'Draco Malfoy' Professor called . It was the blondie I saw back in the train with the scowl in his face , I wondered what house will he be , that I could judge myself . The sorting hat didn't even touch his head and it shouted Slytherin . I was amazed that he had a strong aura for a slytherin and he looked very proud about it.
