I really had fun with Draco for once in years, and today was different. Today, I found myself laughing and having a great time with him. It's strange to think that we used to be enemies, constantly at each other's throats. But today, something was different. We were actually getting along.

I'm on my way to catch up with my friends, even though it had been hours since we planned to catch up. I hoped they hadn't left without me.

I trace the memories of today that happened and it brings a smile to my face that makes me flutter, maybe it's just because of all the laughter causing my stomach to feel this way. I couldn't quite put my finger on why I was so happy. Maybe because I finally started to understand Draco, or was it simply because I was enjoying his company this time.

I made my way to catch up with my friends Harry, Ron, and Hermione. I hoped they were still in the Great Hall, where we had all gathered earlier for lunch.

The memories of today played in my mind, and each one brought a smile to my face. From the witty banter between Draco and me, to the pranks we pulled on, it was a day I never expected to have.

I walked into the Great Hall, I saw that it wasn't as crowded as usual. But to my relief, my friends were still there, sitting at our usual table near the window.

I and my heart skipped a beat with relief. I made my way to them, my mood still bubbling with joy. They all looked up at me, surprised to see me with such a wide smile on my face.

"What's got you so happy?" Harry asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I don't know," I replied honestly. "I just had a good time with-"

I paused for a moment, realizing that they didn't know anything about Draco and me getting along or our little recent pranks. I quickly thought of a way to explain my sudden mood and said, "with this book" Raise my arm with the book in hand to show them with a smile, pretending it was the reason "and my time at the greenhouse really boosted me"

"Because of a book? At least it makes you happy," Ron says, weirded out.

"So," I try to change the topic.

"Are you all going to Hogsmeade Village, which is going to be in two days?" Ron and Hermione glance at each other, then both to Harry.

"What's wrong? Aren't you all coming?" I say, confused.

"We are...just not Harry," Hermione said.

"You need a permission form from a guardian , mine refused," Harry resists to frown, which makes me mad that the Dursleys didn't even care to sign one stupid permission form.

I stand up suddenly in rage. "This is preposterous, it won't hurt them to do something nice for once in their lives," my voice echoing in the hall a bit, and I notice other students looking in my direction. I spot Draco among them, taking a seat at the Slytherin table, making me blush a little bit more. I sit down embarrassed and hiding my red ears.

"I'm sorry, I just..." I apologize to Harry.

"I understand your concern, y/n. Maybe it's best if I stay," he grabs his bag along with Ron getting up too.

"We should get going, Ron. We have Quidditch Practice," Harry left ahead of Ron.

"We'll see you two later," he shrugs awkwardly and leaves too.

I sigh. If I just gave him a hard time because when it comes to Harry, I genuinely have a soft spot for him ever since we met.

Hermione breaks the silence and speaks.
