The great hall , everyone seated , the professors lined in their table , choir singing to the strains of a Harpsichord, and Land On a Quintin Of Toads . shortly after Dumbledore rises from his place and brings to speak

"Welcome! Welcome to another yearat Hogwarts! I have a few things to say, before we become befuddled by our excellent feast. I myself am particularly looking forward to
the flaming kiwi cups, which, while somewhat treacherous for those of us with facial hair..." McGonagall clears her throat.

"Mm. Yes. First, I'm pleased to welcome Professor R.J. Lupin, who has kindly consented to fill the post of Defense Against the Dark Arts. Good luck to you,
Professor" Scattered applause filled The Great hall

"Potter..Potter!!" Malfoy calling Harry in a low voice behind him

"Is it true you fainted" one of his slytherin friends Feigns a faint .

"Shut up Malfoy" Ron responses for Harry.
My temper never seems to rise this much until this boy I'm still eyeing at , raising a brow and him giving me a smirk before turning back to his table.

What was that about!!?. Dear lord this boy can't get more annoying than he is.

"As some of you may know, Professor Kettleburn, our Care of Magical Creatures teacher for many years, has decided to retire in order to spend more time with his remaining limbs. Fortunately, I'm delighted to announce that his place will be filled by none other than our own Rubeus Hagrid" Hagrid stands up from his seat nearly topples the staff table, sending water goblets weaving until he sat back down .

Whispers and murmurs fills the hall

"The Dementors will be stationed at the entrances to the grounds. It is not in the nature of a Dementor to be forgiving"

Everyone exists The Great hall and each to their Dorms .

"Heard the boys are gonna stay up all night in their rooms , Maybe it would be good if we did something for us girls for a change" i smile through Hermione with excitement , giving her puppy eyes cause i know she's not into these stuff and she prefers her sleep over anything when it comes to studying and her classes .

"Pretty please hermmmm" holding back a smile while i just give her the biggest puppy eyes there is.

"Pleaaaaaaasssssseeeeeee" I say it in the longest possible for her not to say no which she definitely will if I don't keep trying
"I've never had a girls night before , I've always been so ...alone ...with pix" as i pout to guilt tripping her

"Alright alright , i guess it won't hurt to try" jumping into a hug excitement in the middle of the stairs were everyone was talking up
"Oh ! We should definitely tell ginny to tag along too , I'll tell her once we arrive in our Dorm"

"He even used the wrong substance for it, making him turn green like a goblin" we all burst into laughter to ginny sharing her funny stories about Ron , I haven't see hermione laugh this much , it's great to see her loosen up .

Our two beds were a mess , sweet treats and candy wrappers lying on the floor beside me on the floor , Ginny sat on my bed while Hermione on hers.

"Jeez this hairband is giving me a headache" I pull it out the hairbun I was styling to , leaving my hair down and hairband free because I'm used to tying it up or round into a bun for the past school year.

"What" the two of them stair
"Your hair is awfully long" Hermione still staring

"Oh..I always loved it long even tho I don't really walk around it much but I am suggesting to let it run long and free from tomorrow even tho aunt Lee said to cut-".

"It suits you alot y/n , it really brings out your spiritual animal side" Ginny compliments.

"Thank you girls , i guess I'll keep it long for a while" a warm smile flutters inside of me , no one really compliments me much so i tend to blush.
"Say y/n about letter i was meaning to ask you"

"Letter? , what letter" Ginny asks curiously
"Well , y/n said that Malfoy might be up to something , she's been having weird flickering lights whenever malfoy is near by to approach us .

She explained that even when he wasn't doing anything bad to us entirely , it would still flicker and he might be just pranking her" Hermione explains the whole thing to Ginny without even asking me first , but i guess she already spill the beans.

"But i understand , he isn't that patient to pull of something like that till now !? , and now that you mention it , I've seen malfoy twice today , first bumping into him in diagon alley and the second in the great hall with you of course and not a single thing had shown up , maybe he gave up or something" Ginny still confused and process this whole thing

"You don't think it's coming from you y/n , i mean , you do have incredible abilities alright maybe it is something we are not sure off" Ginny states

"I can't really say much about it but for now the situation has calmed down which stopped in our last few months in our second year" I added.

"Well whatever it is , as long as it's not bothering you its fine , what matters is we have fun" Ginny gets down besides me, holding my hand in comfort.

"You are right , whats important is that we are okay butttttt" i stop short and look at Ginny

"I heard you like someone Ginny" putting an arm around her shoulder , curiously wanting to know.
"W-what , no!! , who told you that"
"The birds" taking away my arm around her and trying not to look at her but looking up instead .

"Very funny y/n" she hits my head softly of annoyance.

"Whaaaaat , Birds do talk to me , they spill good tea tho , but I really am aware of what they are talking abot , don't I Hermione" sending her a look for help.

"You do know yes but that doesn't mean they could be right" I fold my arms , guilty as charged .

"You're no fun" sliding down more to the floor , growing out to puppy ears pulling them down in disappointment , They both giggling.

"but you know whats going to be funn" I pull Ginny's wrist and directing her to hermione as i touch her hair playfully.

"Oh no no , you are not gonna lay one finger on my hair" without giving us any chance.
"Oh come on herm , we aren't going to make you bald we are just going to style it for Merlin's sake"

"Yes , and i promise if she misses it up , I'll fix it" saying that on purpose to annoy me back for teasing her a while ago.

"hey!!!!" . They all laugh

"Fine , but no ...pink bows or any of that non sense stuff" Hermione finally agrees.

"Oh please , we're not 10??"

"And i rather have them in blue" she crosses her legs and sits upstraight .

"With pleasure my Queen" I giggled

This new relationship , I want to treasure. This new bond connects me closer than I ever thought with any other creature. Maybe growing up, I thought my kind were just animals because I had magical connections with them and the stories I hear in the family tree. But I begin to understand I didn't have quite pleasant impressions with others when I was young. It really brings light to me. If any possibility more than that fills a huge void, I'd be happy to approach and call them a family too.
