Today was the visit to Hogsmeade village where all Third Years and upper students were joined to meet up in the courtyard clock tower. Each clutching a permission form as mine to hand to Professor McGonagall and pass by glowering Filch, except for Harry of course, the Dursleys refused to sign it for him.

"Harry's not coming, is he?" hoping that he convinced Professor McGonagall, I ask Hermione and Ron.

"He's not, y/n," she shook her head in disappointment , I look down, clutching at my permission paper, to rather tear it apart or look for an excuse to stay with Harry and to make it up for him from two days ago in the Great Hall.

"Psst- y/n," I heard someone among the students in our circle whisper my name in a hushed tone. I turned to see Malfoy standing behind Ron and Hermione. I quickly backed away, not wanting to be associated with him.

"What is it Draco?" I whispered, trying to keep my distance from him. "You're going to get us caught." The professor spoke, stopping us shortly from talking.

"Remember! These visits to Hogsmeade Village are a privilege. Should your behavior reflect poorly on the school in any way, that privilege shall not be extended again." The professor warns each of the students on their visit.

Harry approaches her with no guardian signed to his paper and before he even needed to explain himself.
"No permission form. No visiting the Village. That's the rule." I see Professor McGonagall rejects him and that's when I thought.

Draco rolled his eyes at my caution. "Calm down, y/n. I just wanted to ask if you had your form signed, you've been looking st it for long."

"I did, but I'm not going Draco," I whisper back to him.

"What? You didn't get it signed?"

I scoffed at his question. "You're the one to talk, you don't even want to go. What made you so thrilled?"

Draco sighed. "I don't, my father forced me to go to this stupid Hogsfade thing, visit for education, still a pathetic excuse if you ask me," he sneers, unimpressed that his father forced him to go.

I roll my eyes at his attitude. He'll never change, will he? "It's Hogsmeade not Hogsfade Draco, Either way, I'm not going since Harry didn't get his signed."

Draco's expression changed from annoyance to surprise. "All that for Potter?" he asked, squinting his eyes at me in disbelief.

I shrugged. "Let me remind you that Harry is still my best friend, Draco. I'll do anything for him, no matter the consequences. One day you'll do anything for the ones you care about."

I don't know if I'm seeing this wrong, but I can tell by the amazement in his eyes that I don't think his friends would ever do something like that for him, as he processed my words. "Well, if I could, I'd rather be stuck here with you," he said, a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips.

My heart skipped a beat at his unexpected words. That made me flustered, I didn't know what to say. I noticed I stared for too long and I look away and noticed Hermione already glimpsing at me with Draco and I shake my head to not get Ron's attention too. She raised an eyebrow and rolled her eyes. That was a bad timing to see me like that or maybe she's still getting used to me being friends with Draco.

"What was that all about, did you tell Granger?" concerned, he said.

"She found out herself that day when we were running away from Mister Filch."

"Those with permission follow me, those who don't stay put." Mister Filch looks at Harry while he is still trying to convince her. Draco and I exchanged a quick glance before he joined the rest of the group. As we walked next to Ron so he won't ask if I had gone somewhere, I couldn't help but feel a sense of disappointment that I wouldn't be able to spend the day with him somehow.
