My mind spins more then the pain did. I look back at pansy storming off from Draco and As I turned to look back at him, I saw him glance at me with a mixture of sadness and determination maybe in his eyes. He must have seen me watching him, because he smiled at me. It was a genuine smile, one that I had never seen on his face before.

I admire how he did for my sake . He had just stood up to Pansy, despite his wounded arm and being scolded by her. He didn't care about what others would say about him, about his reputation as a Slytherin. He only cared about defending me. I start to think if I was worth all that as long as I don't see him this way.

Draco was being braver than I ever would. I had always been the reserved one and cared about what other say like harry , while he stood up to pansy , he was known for his arrogance and coldness. But in that moment, he had shown a side of himself that I had never seen before.

Suddenly, Freddie sits next to me and takes my hand. "Don't worry, mate. It'll all be sorted out" he says reassuringly.

George joins in, taking my other hand.
"We'll be here"

"With you every step of the way,' they both add.

I feel a sense of comfort wash over me, knowing that I'm not alone in this. I turn to Neville and Seamus.

"Can you two excuse us? I need to speak to them privately"
I say, gesturing towards Neville and Seamus. "And can you two watch over Harry when he wakes up? Please?"

I gazed at Hermione for a moment, knowing I could trust her with what I was about to say.
"Hermione...do you think I should tell Ron for now?" I asked, my heart racing with nerves.

Hermione nodded, her expression serious. This only confused Ron further. 'Ron, Draco and I...are friends," I began, my voice trembling slightly. "Well, technically it started as a bet, but that's a long story-"

"Wait, let me get this straight," Ron interrupted, his voice laced with disbelief. "You're friends with Lunatic? Why? and He's done nothing but terrible things to us"

"Yes, Ron, I know. Just listen-" I tried to explain, but Ron's words cut me off.

"You being friends with this jerk?" he exclaimed, his tone accusing.

Hearing his words made my temper flare up. I knew he was confused and probably even angry, but I couldn't let him speak about Draco like that. "Ron, will you just LISTEN-Eek!' I suddenly cried out, pulling my hand away from Fred and clutching at my head as a sharp pain shot through it.

"Y/n, how about I explain things to him? You should rest up" Hermione suggested, her voice calm and soothing. She always seemed to know how to handle Ron in these kinds of situations.

"Alright...but Harry doesn't know about this. It should come from me" I said, pointing to each of them, including Fred and George. "Do I make myself clear?"

Hermione nodded and took Ron's hand, leading him outside to talk. I lay back, looking up at the ceiling and trying to calm my racing thoughts. "What am I gonna do now?" I whispered to myself, feeling overwhelmed.

"Like you used to" Fred said, sitting down next to me on the bed.

I turned to him, my eyes filled with confusion. "What do you mean?"

"Continue your friendship and the bet if you want to. If he's really your friend like you say he is, he'll understand," George chimed in, sitting on the other side of me.

"You got that right" Fred agreed, a small grin on his face.

"So, you're saying to act like nothing happened and keep this a secret...until when?"I asked, feeling a sense of frustration building up inside me. "Look what it's gotten us now. People could grow suspicious of us in the wrong way".
