'That...was...a...long...run,' he panted, catching his breath as we finally stopped in front of the school's entrance. The rain had been pouring down relentlessly and we had been forced to run all the way from Hagrid's hut to the main building.

"I'll...go change clothes," I exhaled deeply, my lungs still burning from the run. "And meet you in the stadium before going up"

He nodded, his wet hair sticking to his forehead. "Sounds good. See you there".

I went back to my room, drenched from head to toe, after getting caught in a sudden downpour on my way back from the library. As I walked in, I found Hermione already there, getting ready for the quidditch match.

"Hey Hermione!" I greeted her, trying to hide my embarrassment at my wet appearance.

"Oh hey y/n, ready to go to the quidditch match?" she asked, taking a quick glance at me from my wet hair to my muddy shoes.

"Where have you been?? You're all...wet and dirty," she exclaimed, noticing my state.

I didn't even have a chance to speak before she had already figured it out. "Let me guess, Malfoy again?" she asked, raising her eyebrows.

I nodded awkwardly, feeling a bit guilty for getting myself into another messy situation with him.

"We were in the forbidden forest when it started raining, so we ran from there to the castle" I explained.

"Have you gone nuts? You were in the forbidden forest!" Hermione scolded, her face filled with worry.

"I've always been in the forbidden forest ever since I discovered there are creatures there," I admitted, feeling a sense of excitement and adventure at the thought.

"You could've gotten hurt or worse..." she trailed off, her concern evident in her voice.

"Centaurs? That's what I was going to tell you" I interrupted her, wanting to ease her worries. "They've known my family for generations. My mother used to go to the forbidden forest when she was in Hogwarts"

Hermione's eyes widened in surprise, clearly not expecting this revelation. "Magorian, the leader of the Centaurs, told me about the Luminhood history centuries ago" I continued, feeling a sense of pride in my family's connection with these mythical creatures.

"What did he say?" Hermione asked, curiosity getting the better of her.

"Luminhoods were loyal protectors of the forest, because of our abilities. Creatures like them are passed down into our spirits... The more I think about it, my mother was one of the members of the Ministry of Magic. She had a place where she kept magical creatures under control and hidden from the muggle world" I explained, my mind racing with all the possibilities and connections.

"Hmm, that's interesting" Hermione murmured, lost in thought as she processed this new information.

Suddenly, she looked up at me with a serious expression. "Y/n, have you ever thought that maybe your mother...your parents' death, wasn't an accident?" she asked, her tone filled with concern.

I was taken aback by her question and shook my head. "Oh no , The ministry of magic were sure of my parents death that it was an accident , they've investigated , there was no magic outburst nothing at all " I explain of what I've known. " Lee even told me she tried to investigate herself , she found no clues'
