When they entered the castle it was dimly lit, only a few torches littering the wall at this late hour."It's them!"
They heard come through the darkness, Aemma pausing in her place but being pulled forward by Aemond.
"It's us!", Aemond confirmed, Aemma looking at him in shock from his forward ness.
Aemond had never been one to stick up for himself, always taking the blows and not fighting back, though it seemed now that he'd bonded with Vhagar it gave him a confidence boost.
"Vhagar is my mothers dragon!", Rhaena spat at them absolutely furious.
"Your mother's dead. And Vhagar has a new rider now", Aemma slapped Aemond on the arm, his words were true but he didn't have to be so forward with his words.
Their mother always preceded decency and honor to them, so she was shocked at his choice of words, as her and Aemond always hang onto their mothers words like it was gold.
"She was mine to claim", Rhaena argued once more.
This made Aemma shake her head, she may not have known much about dragons but she did know that you don't get passed down one.
A dragon was not a birth right that you have, her, Aemond and even Rhaena being proof of that.
It's something you can gain, a bond between the rider and dragon is a tight relationship. They see each other and some even say you can feel each other.
That is why Vhagar chose Aemond, she had seen him, fully seen him. For the boy he is and she accepted him.
The dragon chooses the rider.
Aemma with an inch of confidence decided to voice these opinions. "That's not how it works."
"And what would you know about it", Baela sneered at her. "Where's your dragon?"
"Leave her alone", Aemond stepped more in front of Aemma.
"Vhagar is mine!", Rhaena yelled like the incompetent child she was, seeming to have never been told no.
"Maybe your cousins can find you a pig to ride. It would suit you", Aemond hummed, looking to Jace and Luce as he said this.
This is what broke the temper of Rhaena as she rushed forward to try get a hit on Aemond who simply just shoved her off to the side.
After that is when Baela jumped in, landing a punch right onto Aemonds face.
"No! Stop it", Aemma yelled to them, violence was never the answer. Though no one paid mind to her screams.
Aemond retaliating as he threw a hit back at Baela, pushing her down next to her sister on the ground.
"Come at us and I'll feed you to my dragon", Aemond then voiced, looking around him as he prayed that the fighting was done with.
