"Just one more!"
"Please!"
"We'll go to bed straight after!"
"We promise!"Two little voices echoed around the Keep from the royals quarters, begging both their mother and aunt to supply them with some more lemon cakes before bed.
"You've both already had two", Helaena laughed, denying to be their supplier.
"Each", Aemma cut in with a raise of her brow, knowing both her children had tricked both Ser Criston and Aegon during the day for some lemon cakes already.
"Nuh-uh!", the two twins denied at the same time with shakes of their heads, the guilty smiles on their faces saying otherwise.
"Uh-Huh!", Aemma nodded to them in contrast to their hums of denial.
"So?", Jaehaerys let his question drag on, wanting to know if they could have some lemon cakes before bed.
"So?", Aemma hummed moving her face closer to theirs, pretending as if she didn't know what he was asking for.
"Lemon cakes?", Jaehaera asked, looking up to her mother with a pair of puppy dog eyes.
Pretending to ponder on their ask, Aemma smiled to them. "No", she gave them a mock frown to showcase her 'sorrow' at their predicament.
The two twins frowned at their mother, huffing at the denial of lemon cakes, pouting as they crossed their arms unsatisfied.
"Tomorrow?", Jaehaerys then tried to compromise, both him and Jaehaera now giving her puppy dog eyes.
The bright green of Jaehaerys eyes and the lilac glimmer of Jaehaeras meeting Aemmas mix of the two.
"Tomorrow", Aemma let them come to a compromise, not being able to resist their charms and cuteness.
The twins grinning at their victory of the declaration that they would be getting the lemon cakes tomorrow, the two then scrambling off to bed with their new found satisfaction.
"They remind me so much of you and Aemond", Helaena marveled as she looked at the two children, Aemm smiling at her words, silently agreeing as Helaena continued to have nostalgia.
The older sister inside of hers heart warming as she watched the twins. Both Jaehaerys and Jaehaera having a lot in common with both their parents, not just in looks, but in their mannerisms and their undying love for the sour treat.
Sitting on the edge of Jaehaeras bed first, Aemma pulled the blankets up under the girls chin, tucking her in fully so she wouldn't get cold during the night.
