In the Twins chambers where the whole murder had occurred last night stood Helaena, the woman's hand clinging to the bed post of Jaehaeras bed, finding herself unable to turn back to look at Jaehaerys bed.

Being another one of the many that was ridden with immense guilt in the Keep, having not forgiven herself for abandoning her little sister and nephew, running through the halls like a scared mouse.

"There's to be a funeral for Jaehaerys", Alicent spoke to her daughter as she entered the room, setting her sights on the back of Helaena.

Noting that as well as Aemma that Helaena also had not slept a wink last night, her hair also out of place as the hairs tried to escape the braids surrounding it, still wearing her nightdress from the attack, unlike Aemmas hers lacked any blood.

"We've been asked to ride on a wagon behind his body", Alicent informed her of the proposition that had been made at the Small Council meeting.

"I don't want to", Helaena mumbled out, her watery eyes flickering around the room as she clutched the fabric closer to her face.

"Neither do I", Alicent told her truthfully, having not wanted this either. "But when a thing like this happens...a blow to the King is a blow to the realm", she upskilled to the girl, sharing. the strategy to their plan. "When the people share our grief they draw closer to us."

"I don't want them closer", Helaena cut in abruptly at her mothers words, turning to face her. "Flower won't want them closer", she spoke for Aemma, knowing that her sister won't like this plan. "We don't know them!"

"Sometimes we have to pretend", Alicent told her daughter regrettably.

"Why?", Helaena whined sadly, not understanding why they had to pretend for the people, why cant they just keep things private.

"We are representatives of the throne. We have a duty", Alicent coached her the harsh reality's of being a member of the royal family.

Nervously twiddling her fingers then as the room went silent, Alicent moved forward towards her daughter.

"Helaena, what you saw last night when you came to my room-"

"This is for the boy", Helaena cut her mother off, passing a fabric over to Alicent.

She shoved the sewed garment her and Aemma had been working on for days into her mothers hands, turning to the table behind her and picking up a wooden toy horse.

The same wooden horses that her and Aemma had been cleaning up last night after they'd put the kids to bed.

"Every night the same dream and every morning the same nightmare", Helaena muttered softly to herself as her fingers toyed with the wooden horse.

"It's beautiful", Alicent gulped, not knowing what to say in the quiet, what was there to say?

"I finished it without her, I could not sleep after last night, I hope she's not too mad at me for finishing it without her", Helaena rambled worriedly as she turned her gaze from the wooden horse to look at the fabric in Alicents hands.
