Two weeks after Aemond had killed Lucerys, wether it was on purpose or an accident, it didn't quite matter as either way it was a mistake.

Vhagar having to patrol Kings Landing incase Rhaenyra decides to strike with her dragons at any given time, the Greens living in fear....most of them anyway.

Aegon didn't seem to be fearful, taking up the roll as King quite well for someone who'd never wanted it.

Aemond on the other hand didn't convey much emotions never the less fear for his actions, his anger overshadowing any fear that could be instilled in him as the two people he loved the most chose to blame him for the war coming.

Both Alicent and Aemma having barely spoke any words toward him since he'd returned with news of the boys death.

Aemma choosing to put all her time and concentrations into her children, Jaehaerys and Jaehaera leaving Aegon to rule.

That's exactly what she was doing as of now, sitting in her children's chambers on the floor with her sister Helaena, the two of them sitting on cushions as they sewed.

They didn't speak much to one another when they stitched together, enjoying the silence as they got to stitch fabrics, making all sorts of dresses and cloths.

Just letting the sounds of the handmaidens scurrying about, the flaps of Vhagars wings, the crackles of the fire and Jaehaeras babbles from beside them fill the silence.

Entering the chamber of his children, Aegon was buzzing as he practically hopped into the room with glee.

Strolling over to where he saw a white head sitting off to the side by Aemma and Helaena, bending down slightly to see his daughter Jaehaera, glancing around the room then for his son Jaehaerys though not finding him anywhere.

"Where is Jaehaerys?", Aegon asked Aemma, snapping back up from his hunched over position by Jaehaera.

"Attending his lessons", she drawled to him, not even looking up from her sewing, focused on finishing her stitch.

"And those are where?", Aegon gestured around curiously, not sure where Jaehaerys lessons would be today.

"What do you need of him?", Aemma sighed, sending a question back to him.

"I'm taking him to the small council", Aegon enlightened her on his plans. "He'll be King one day. He must begin his instruction", he reasoned.

"What if he does not want to be King?", Aemma snapped snidely, still keeping her eyes down on her stitching, not wanting her son to miss a lesson as they were important for a young prince like him, especially the heir.

Not taking any offense to his wife's words, Aegon now hunched over in front of her to meet her eye level, taking her eyes away from her sewing.

"Where is he?", he smiled.
