Since her outing to the orphanage Aemma had chosen to spend more time with her own daughter Jaehaera after all of the children had called for her as they named her their mother.

It didn't only make her think of the child she lost but also the only one she had left, her sweet girl.

The war was coming and only one side could ascend the Iron Throne, Rhaenyras Blacks or Aegons Greens, and it was too early on to know who the Gods were favoring and how much time she had left.

It was horrible for her to think of her own and her family's demises but as of now their odds of winning were almost even, Rhaenyras dragons thinning out as the Greens armies grew in size.

So not taking part in the Small Council meeting, spending time with her mother and sister or opting out of helping Aegon try and raise up his strengths as she couldn't stand his cries of pain, Aemma instead spent her entire day with her daughter Jaehaera.

The mother and daughter duo had broke their fast together in the early mornings, played some games and Aemma even accompanied Jaehaera to her lessons.

That leading to some downtime as Aemma brought Jaehaera for a walk outside within the walls of the Red Keep as she let the little girl explore around the gardens to now where they were walking through the yard where all the knights were working.

It wasn't the safest of places to be with all the training, blacksmithing and building that most of the knights were doing preparing for the war though both Jaehaera and Aemma walked around the yard with interest as they watched the knights do all sorts, even stopping to pet some of the horses that were outside.

"Mummy", Jaehaera called up to her mother, stopping her wandering as she looked to Aemma with question in her eyes.

"Yes, my darling", Aemma responded quickly as she walked closer over to her daughter so she could hear her better with all the racket happening in the yard.

"I miss JaeJae", Jaehaera admitted as she grabbed ahold of Aemmas skirts, pulling on them slightly.

"I know you do, darling", Aemma cooed sadly, reaching down to place a hand on top of her tiny head.

"Does he miss me?", she then questioned innocently, looking to the ground as she rolled around a rock with the top of her shoe.

"He misses you too, just as much as you miss him", Aemma assured her, choking down a sob and keeping back tears.

"And you?", Jaehaera innocently asked as she looked up to her mother with wide eyes.

"I miss him so much", Aemma told her lightly, holding back all the things she wanted to really say, knowing the young girl wasn't ready for it.

"I don't want him to sleep forever", Jaehaera pouted as she remembered her mothers words about how Jaehaerys would sleep forever.

"Neither do I", Aemma confessed to the young girl, stroking her hair back.
