"What you guys don't understand is for us, kissing is as important as any part of it," Monica explained.

"Yeah, right!" Joey laughed, not believing her one second.

The gang was hanging out at Central Perk as usual, especially now that Rachel was working as a waitress there.

The girls who were all sitting on one side of the couch gave Joey a look that meant they weren't kidding.

"You serious?" Joey asked.

"Oh yeah!" Phoebe told him.

"Everything you need to know is in that first kiss," Rachel explained.

Monica and Quinn agreed with her. "Absolutely."

"Yeah I think for us," Chandler motioned between him and the two other men, "kissing is pretty much like an opening act, you know? I mean it's like the stand-up comedian you have to sit through before Pink Floyd comes out."

The girls all shared a look.

"Yeah and, and it's not that we don't like the comedian it's just that that's not why we bought the ticket," Ross finished explaining Chandler's metaphor.

"You see, the problem is though, after the concert's over no matter how great the show was, you girls are always looking for the comedian again, you know?" Chandler complained. "I mean, we're in the car, we're fighting traffic, basically just trying to stay awake."

Quinn couldn't stop the laugh that came out of her mouth. "You guys are weak!"

"What do you mean, weak?" Ross asked, slightly offended.

"While you're stuck in traffic, trying to stay awake, we're waiting near the backstage doors in the hopes of meeting either the opening act or Pink Floyd. You know, to keep the night going," she explained, the other three girls nodding their heads in agreement.

The boys looked at each other, shocked by their friend's revelation. "Yeah well, we have jobs to go to in the morning, we don't have time to wait at the doors," Ross defended himself.

"So do we!" Phoebe argued.

Rachel didn't give them the time to come up with another defence. "Yeah, well, word of advice. Bring back the comedian, otherwise next time you're gonna find yourself sitting at home, listening to that album alone."

"While we're hanging out backstage with the comedian and Pink Floyd," Quinn finished and the two girls high-fived each other.

Confused, Joey nudged Ross' leg next to him. "Are we still talking about sex?"

His friend answered him with a thumbs up.

Quinn hastily made her way to Monica's apartment, clad in her forest green bathrobe and holding two dresses in her hands.

"You guys," she announced as she walked in. Joey, Monica, Chandler and Phoebe all looked at her. "I have to leave for this date in thirty minutes and I still have no idea what to wear!" She whined before stopping in front of the television. "Which dress would be better? This new black velvet dress with purple flowers or the green floral one with the cowl neck?"

"I really like the black with the purple flowers," Phoebe said.

"Yeah that one's pretty," Joey agreed from where he stood in the kitchen.

"But the green one suits you so well too," Monica countered, taking a break from her excessive cleaning and trying to make her apartment look good enough for her mother.

"Chandler?" Quinn waited for his opinion.

He looked at her in shock. "Don't ask me fashion stuff! I know nothing about it!"
