Quinn was sitting on Joey's bed, her arms tightly holding her legs close to her body, as her boyfriend jumped up and down. Surprisingly, his mattress was really bouncy and Quinn giggled as she was thrown around.
It didn't last long though. The force of the bounce had been quite powerful and was sending her towards the floor. Joey, in an attempt to keep her from tumbling off the bed, ended up falling off the mattress, directly on his shoulder.
Quinn rolled off the bed in a hurry and crouched down next to Joey, her hands hovering over him, not really knowing what to do. "Oh my God! Are you alright?"
The door of the bedroom opened up, Chandler peeking his head in. "See, that's why you don't play Popcorn on a bed."
Quinn groaned and rolled her eyes. "Just shut up and help us," she told him, to which he complied.
The three of them spent the night at the hospital and Quinn was in a foul mood by the time they were out. She was able to get a tiny bit of sleep but the chairs in the waiting room were the most uncomfortable things she had ever sat on, meaning that not only she was sleep deprived but her lower back was also in pain.
The trio went to Monica and Rachel's apartment when they got back home and greeted their friends upon entering, Quinn immediately dashing towards the coffee pot.
"Is it broken?" Ross asked Joey.
"No, but I gotta wear this thing for a couple weeks," the actor motioned to the sling that held his arm in place.
"Did you tell the doctor you did it playing Popcorn with your girlfriend on your bed?" Rachel teased him.
"No, I had a whole story worked out but then..." Joey turned around and patted his roommate's shoulder. "Chandler sold me out."
"Well, I'm sorry Joe. I didn't think the doctor was going to buy that it just fell out of the socket," Chandler sarcastically replied.
"You know, you could've just said you fell out of the bed while we were doing it," Quinn mused in with a full cup of coffee in hand.
"Why didn't I think of that!" Joey cried out and hit his head with his free hand.
Quinn shrugged her shoulders and went to take a sip of coffee but the sight of the kitchen table stopped her. "Good Lord, what happened here?" She asked Rachel and Monica.
"What is this? Fruit?" Joey wondered, picking up a peach.
Ross, Monica and Rachel all stared at him, wondering if he was serious, before the latter answered. "Monica's making jam."
"Oh jam? I love jam!" Joey exclaimed. "Hey, how come we never have jam at our place?" He turned to Chandler.
"Because the kids need new shoes," Chandler cried. "Plus, your girlfriend has jam."
"Oh, that's right," Joey shyly smiled.
"I'm going into business, people." The brunette said, not stopping her jam train. "I'm sick and tired of being depressed about Richard. I needed a plan... a plan to get over my man. And what's the opposite of man? Jam."
"Yeah, okay," Quinn chuckled in her mug.
"Oh Joey, don't! It's way too hot," Monica ran to her friend who was eating a spoonful of jam from the cauldron on the stove.
But it was too late. Joey whimpered at the temperature of the jam then spat out his mouthful back in the cauldron, much to Monica's dismay. "This'll just be my batch," he sheepishly told her.
__________
"Remember when you were a kid and your mom would drop you off at the movies with a jar of jam and a little spoon?" Joey wondered aloud as he spread jam on a scone.
