It was a sunny spring day, the weather was warm and inviting all New Yorkers to spend as much time outside as they could. That's how Quinn and Joey found themselves sitting on a sunbathed patch of grass in Bryant Park, eating deli sandwiches during Quinn's lunch hour.
"So he's really not breaking up with her then?" The redhead asked her boyfriend after swallowing down the last bite of her sandwich.
"Nope! He seems really serious about her," Joey told her. He had just finished retelling his encounter he had with Chandler that morning, about how he wasn't going to break up with Janice like all the previous times.
"This can't happen," Quinn said, using her free hand to shield her eyes from the sun. She couldn't believe she had forgotten her sunglasses at her desk and was now paying the price.
"That's exactly what I said!" Joey exclaimed, glad someone was agreeing with him. "When I told the others, they were all like "we all just be adult about it and accept her" because she makes him happy."
Quinn gave her boyfriend a deadpan look. "Let me guess, Ross said that?"
"Mhm," Joey hummed in confirmation.
"So what do you plan to do?"
The actor sighed. "I don't know yet..."
Quinn leaned over and softly patted his cheek with affection. "You'll come up with something, my love."
"I hope so," Joey mumbled. "Anyways, how much time do we have before you have to go back to the office?"
The redheaded woman looked at the small, golden watch she had on her freckled left wrist and inhaled sharply. "It's a fifteen minute walk so I should leave in like, two minutes."
"I'll walk you back then," Joey said and picked up the deli bag with all of their garbage to throw in the closest thrash can. He stood up and held out his free hand to his girlfriend, who took it gratefully and kissed him softly when she was on her feet.
The couple walked in comfortable silence, making their way through a busy Times Square and then up Broadway. Quinn was tucked close to Joey's chest, his arm holding her close was wrapped around her neck and she held his hand that limped over her shoulder.
"What time should I expect you back home?" Joey asked the ginger when they were a block away from her office building.
"It's a slow day, so I should be out at four. Why?"
"I was thinking I could take you out to the cute Italian restaurant you've been wanting to try before we go to the baseball game," he told her.
"Aww, Joey," Quinn cooed and kissed him on the lips. "That'd be amazing, I'd love that."
"Perfect, I can't wait," He beamed at her and brought the two to a stop so he could kiss her properly before Quinn disappeared in her office building, all giddy and blushing.

Quinn had a day off, so naturally she found herself over at Joey's apartment where the couple laid on his Barcalounger, watching daytime television.
The front door eventually opened with Chandler coming back from work, glad to see his two best friends were home. "Hey," he greeted them.
"Wheel."
"Of."
"Fortune!"
Joey and Chandler went back and forth while Quinn smiled at their antics.
"This guy's so stupid," Joey complained about the contestant on the show before crying out, "it's Count Rushmore!"
Chandler exchanged a worried look with Quinn who simply shrugged her shoulders. "You know, you should really go on this show," the man told his roommate.
