Quinn had left Rachel's apartment a while ago and was now watching reruns of The Brady Bunch in her pyjama pants and Joey's Knicks sweater while she waited for him to come back home from the bar. She knew he was going to stop by to see her, Joey turned out to be a very clingy boyfriend who needs a certain amount of hours spent with Quinn per day or else he gets cranky like a toddler (Chandler told her he was unbearable by the second day they spent separated from each other when he had to come back from Montreal earlier than her).
She was starting to nod off when the door to her apartment opened and Joey and Chandler came in. Even though the two boys tried to not be too loud, the sound woke Quinn up and she turned around to face her friends, resting her chin on the back of her emerald green couch as she rubbed the sleep away from her eyes. "How's Ross?"
"Yeah, about that..." Chandler cringed. He was hoping this wouldn't be the first thing his best friend would bring up.
"What happened?" Quinn sat up.
"We don't know where he is," Joey said, taking a seat next to his girlfriend on the couch while Chandler occupied the armchair.
"You don't know where he is?" The girl repeated, confused.
"Last time we saw him, he was dancing with Chloe," Joey explained. "Didn't think much of it, I was hoping that would cheer him up a little. But then I went to the bathroom and when I came back they were gone."
"What about you?" Quinn turned to Chandler.
"I was busy apologizing to a girl after stumbling into her and making her spill her drink all over herself," he answered shamefully.
"Wow, you're incorrigible," she commented before focusing back on the matter at hand. "Well, we've done everything we could to help them save their couple. If Ross went to go sleep with another girl, that's on him."
"Huh, didn't think of that," Chandler said.
"What?"
"Well, we just thought he left to go make up with Rachel," Joey argued.
"Hopefully for him, that's what he did," Quinn grumbled.
"You're not gonna be mad at us for failing to keep an eye on him?" Chandler inquired.
"No, Ross is an adult," Quinn pointed out. "Now if I had asked you to keep an eye on a toddler and you lost them, that would be a totally different story."
"So, just to be sure, if Ross is sleeping with Chloe right now, you're not gonna kick our asses?" Joey asked.
"The only ass I'll be kicking is Ross'," Quinn reassured them. "Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to bed. My knee is still sore from running all the way from the bar in high heeled boots."
Chandler nodded his head and stood up to leave but not without planting a kiss on Quinn's forehead first. "Joe, are you coming or are you staying?"
"I'm staying, you can lock the door," the actor told his roommate.
"Alright, goodnight then," and Chandler was out of the apartment.
"About your knee," Joey started talking as he shredded off his coat, following Quinn who went to lock the front door, "should we be worried about that?"
"Nah, the physio said it's normal," Quinn waved off his concern, making her way to her bedroom.
"Even if it's been almost three months since you got injured?"
"With the amount of times the bones of my legs have been broken, and with my job consisting of standing up, crouching and squatting down a lot, I'm bound to experience pain in my legs," Quinn explained while slipping under her bed covers.
