It had been two weeks since Colin had fully moved in with Quinn and needless to say, everything was amazingly great for the couple. Getting to fall asleep every night in each other's arms and wake up the next morning to soft kisses and cuddles, Quinn felt like she was in heaven.
After showering together, the couple, as well as the rest of their friend group, had gone over to Monica and Rachel's apartment to see baby Ben.
"Okay," Monica announced as she came out of her room with a gift bag in hand. "These were unbelievably expensive and I know he's gonna grow out of them in, like, twenty minutes, but I couldn't resist!" She said, showing a pair of small Nikes.
Everyone cooed at how cute the shoes were, Phoebe even got up from her seat to grab them from Monica and bring them over to Ben. "Hey Ben, just do it."
But the baby started crying then and Phoebe got scared she did something wrong. "Oh my God! Oh... Was that too much pressure for him?"
Susan and Carol shook their heads no, instead setting up to feed their son. "Wow, is he hungry already?" The former asked, placing a pillow to support his head.
"I guess so," Carol answered and started breastfeeding Ben.
"You know, it's..." Chandler was about to make one of his joke but the sight of the mother and her son made him forget his train of thought. "Something funny about sneakers. I'll be right back," he rushed his sentence and got up.
Joey, now seeing what had made his roommate uncomfortable, also stood up. "Uh... uh... I got to get one too."
Quinn observed them, laughing to herself at how immature her best friends can be, before leaving her seat on Colin's lap, who was sitting on the armrest, to instead scooch closer to the baby, her boyfriend following her and occupying the empty space to her left.
"Oh Carol, he is just so adorable," Quinn cooed.
"He is, isn't he?" The mother replied, her eyes not leaving her son for a second.
"Do you two plan on having one?" Susan asked the couple.
"Oh, we don't know, I'm not there yet," Quinn answered, becoming a little uncomfortable as memories of the discussion she had with Colin at the hospital flashed in her mind.
Colin felt her discomfort and brought the redhead in a side hug with his right arm, leaving a kiss on her temple as his left hand grabbed hers, interlacing their fingers together.
"We've still got time to think about it," Colin added to her response.
Ross came back to the living room with Chandler and Joey following behind, putting an end to the discussion.
"Carol?" Chandler asked, trying to muster up the strength to get through this uncomfortable situation but instead decided to throw his roommate under the bus. "I was just wondering if Joey could ask you a question about breastfeeding."
Quinn placed her free hand in front of her mouth, already knowing where this was going, while Carol spared the boys a glance before answering. "Sure."
"Uh..." Joey looked at the mother breastfeeding, a confused look taking over his face. "Does it hurt?"
"Oh, it did at first, but not anymore."
"Ah..." Joey nodded his head before turning back to his roommate. "Chandler?"
"So, uh..." Chandler cast down his eyes like a shy kid, "How often can you do it?"
"As much as he needs."
"Oh, okay! I got one," Joey said, clearing his throat. "If he blows into one, does the other one get bigger?"
Before Quinn got the chance to kick him on the shin for his question, Ross was already rushing the two boys away, disappointed with his friends' immaturity.
