Quinn, Chandler, Phoebe and Ross were all hanging out at Central Perk, as per usual, while Rachel worked, trying to get more money so she could go skiing in Vail with her family for Thanksgiving.

The redhead was nose deep in a book about fashion photography in Yves Saint Laurent's studios, searching for inspiration as her next big photoshoot was for a special edition the magazine was making for that fashion house. She didn't notice Monica walking in the coffee shop nor did she notice the conversation her friend was having with her brother about their parents spending Thanksgiving in Puerto Rico. Her attention was pulled away from her book though when Chandler asked Joey who had just arrived if he was wearing makeup. Quinn looked up to find her best friend with blush and lipstick on.

"Yes I am," Joey replied to Chandler's question. "As of today, I am officially Joey Tribbiani, actor slash model."

"That's so funny 'cause I was thinking you look more like Joey Tribbiani, man slash woman," Chandler joked, earning himself a slap on the chest from Quinn.

"What were you modeling for?" Phoebe inquired.

"Yeah, will I get to take photos of you for Elle Magazine soon?" Quinn added.

"Oh I don't think so," Joey blushed, being modest. "You know those posters for the city free clinic?"

"Oh wow! So you're gonna be one of those healthy, healthy, healthy guys?" Monica enthusiastically asked.

Joey tilted his head to the side, making a face that told he didn't know the answer to his friend's question.

"You know, the asthma guy's really cute," Phoebe commented, the other girls agreeing with her.

"Do you know which one you're gonna be?" Chandler asked.

"No, but I hear Lyme disease is open, so, you know..." And he raised up his hand, showing his fingers crossed in hope that he would get assigned to that illness.

"Good luck man, I hope you get it," Chandler encouraged him, which made Quinn giggle.

Ross came back from phoning his parents at that moment, looking pissed and defeated. "Well, you were right," he told his sister. "How can they do this to us, huh? It's Thanksgiving!"

"Okay, I'll tell you what," Monica came up with a solution. "How about if I cook dinner at my place? I'll make it just like Mom's."

"Will you make the mashed potatoes with the lumps?" Ross asked her.

"You know they're not actually supposed to have..." But when she saw her brother's dramatic annoyance, she gave up. "I'll work on the lumps," Monica promised him.

Quinn pulled a face at Ross' question. "You eat your mashed potatoes with lumps?"

"Yeah, I don't get it either," Monica told the redhead before changing the subject. "Quinn, are you spending Thanksgiving with Colin?"

"Oh no, his family is flying to Oregon to celebrate with his mom's side and I have too much stuff to do for work," Quinn answered. "Why?"

"Do you want to celebrate with us?" Monica offered.

Quinn excitedly clapped her hands. "Oh yes! I've never celebrated an American Thanksgiving before. You guys get more into it than we do in Canada, will you be making a traditional Thanksgiving meal?"

Monica was pleased with her friend's enthusiasm. "Well that depends on how many people we're gonna be. Joey, you're going home, right?"

"Yeah," Joey answered with a smile, he couldn't wait to see his family and his mother's cooking.
