Quinn had joined Phoebe and Ross at Central Perk after stopping by the offices of Elle Magazine for a debrief of what she had missed during her unexpected visit to Montreal, which was mostly information about the next issue and to overview the pictures of the photoshoots that had taken place while she was gone. She had moved up the ranks of the magazine in the years she had worked for them and was now more than just a fashion photographer but also overlooked anything that had to do with the photography and images that they would print.

"Ow! Ow!" Phoebe cried from the couch as she tried to take a bite of her apple before dropping the fruit on her lap, causing Quinn to glance up from the newspaper she was reading, sat at the little round table.

"Phoebe, you're in pain. Would you just go to the dentist? Just go!" Rachel asked after sitting down in the green armchair, taking a break from her shift.

"Alright, fine, fine, but if you're my next victim, don't come back as a poltergeist who sucks me into the TV set," Phoebe retorted back.

Rachel took a second to answer. "I promise."

"Although don't feel like you can't visit," the blonde quickly added in a softer tone.

"Pheebs, if I die while you're at the dentist, you can start some career as a medium and we can prank people on the Ouija board," Quinn told her friend.

"Now I kind of want you to die because that would be so fun!" Phoebe exclaimed enthusiastically.

Before any of her friends could say anything in response to that, Joey and Monica rushed in the coffee house, distraught looks on their faces. "Hey, is Chandler here?" The actor looked around.

Ross patted himself, as if searching for something on himself, and replied, "No, no he's not."

Quinn leaned over to lightly slap him his bicep with the back of her hand for his sarcasm. "What's going on?" The redhead asked.

"Hold up." Joey told Monica as he walked over to where Quinn was sitting, moving her head with his hand and leaning down to kiss her. "Hey," he greeted her once their lips were separated.

"Hi," the girl smiled up at him lovingly then turned around to face her friends, her face back with a serious look on it. "Okay, now you can tell us."

"Joey just saw Janice kissing her ex-husband," the brunette confessed.

"What?" The others all gasped in shock, pivoting their heads to look at Joey who stood behind Quinn, his hands resting on her shoulders. Ever since she had come back from Montreal, he had been super clingy and touchy to make up for the four days they spent away from each other. Quinn thought it was cute.

"So what are you gonna do? How are you going to tell Chandler?" Ross asked his friend.

"I was thinking about that and I think the best way would be... to not."

Quinn smacked the back of her hand on his chest, not happy with his answer.

"Joey, you can't keep this to yourself," Rachel told him. "If you know about this, you have to tell him."

"It'll kill him!" Joey defended himself. "I mean, it'll just kill him."

"And it'll kill him even more if he finds out his best friend knew and didn't tell him," Quinn retorted back, arms crossed over her chest.

"Well, you could wait 'til I go to the dentist, maybe I'll kill him," Phoebe said.

After a dozen minutes, the group moved their location from the coffee house to Monica and Rachel's apartment seeing as Carol and Susan were dropping off Ben for the weekend.
