Now that Joey and Chandler got themselves a foosball table, Quinn found herself spending more time over at the boys' apartment than she did at Monica and Rachel's. Sure she still stopped by to hang out with them, especially after Rachel broke up with Paolo, but now instead of doing nothing at the girls' apartment, she would play foosball at the boys' with whoever was around.

The redhead was in the middle of a game with her boyfriend when Joey walked in his apartment followed by his dad.

"If it isn't my favourite Irish lass!" Mr Tribbiani exclaimed upon seeing the girl.

"Mr Trib!" Quinn stopped playing to greet Joey's dad. "I didn't know you were coming to the city, it's so great to see you! How've you been?" She asked him after hugging him.

"Oh same old, you know it. I'm only here for a couple of days, got a job Midtown," He answered then noticed Colin who stood by the foosball table, chatting with Joey. "Who's this young man? I don't know him."

Quinn chuckled, walking over to her boyfriend to grab his hand and introduce him. "This is my boyfriend Colin. Colin, this is Joey's dad."

"Pleasure to meet you Mr Tribbiani," Colin shook his hand.

"Good to meet you Colin. Got a firm handshake this one, he's a keeper," Mr Tribbiani winked to Quinn, making her and her boyfriend blush.

"Dad!" Joey whined.

"What? A good handshake can take you far," the older man justified.

"Well, we're gonna let you guys settle for the night, we can play foosball another time," Quinn said as she started pulling Colin towards the front door.

"She's only saying that because I was winning," Colin turned around to tell the two Tribbiani men.

"Was not!" The redhead argued.

"Babe, I so was," her boyfriend teased.

"No you weren–" but Quinn didn't get to finish her sentence, Colin had picked her up, threw her over his shoulder and ran out the door.

Joey didn't take his eyes off of where he last saw Quinn for a good fifteen seconds before moving on and arranging the apartment for his dad to sleepover.

"She seems really happy with him," Mr Tribbiani remarked.

"Yeah," Joey sighed, coming out of his room with blankets and pillows for him to sleep on the couch since he was giving his bed to his dad. "He's a good guy, gets well with the group."

"You wish you had a good reason to hate him but you can't find one, huh?"

"What makes you say that?" Joey asked defensively.

"I can tell by the look in your eyes son," Mr Tribbiani answered. "And because I know that look too well."

Joey sighed again, sitting next to his dad at the bar stools. "It's weird because I never thought of Quinn that way before," he admitted. "Yes, I've always thought she was attractive but she's my best friend and I'd never ruin what we have for some mindless fun. But lately, I don't know, I've been wanting more and only with her."

It was the first time Joey shared with someone the change of feelings he had experienced for his redheaded neighbour and he couldn't lie, it felt good to do so.

"Ah Joey, love comes when you least expect it," Mr Tribbiani patted his son on his back. "And most of the time, it will suck. But it can also be the most beautiful thing you'll ever experience. You just have to be patient."

"It's like if you woke up one day and found out your dad was leading this double life. He's like, actually some spy working for the CIA," Joey ranted about his father cheating on his mother to his friends over at the girls' apartment. "That would be cool," he commented about the CIA spy idea. "This blows!" His mood turned back to being sour.
