The boys and Quinn were sitting around Monica and Rachel's living room during lunchtime, Days Of Our Lives playing on the television as they waited for the first appearance of Joey's character.
"This is so cool, you're actually gonna be on television," Ross said while chewing on a bite from his sandwich.
Joey, who was sitting on the coffee table to be closer to the television, turned around to answer his friend. "I know. It really hit me last night, I'm going to be on Days Of Our Lives. And then I started thinking about all of us and how these are the days of our lives, you know?"
Chandler and Quinn exchanged a glance, the redhead stifling a giggle. The two often wondered what goes on in their best friend's head but it's part of Joey's charm and one of the many reasons why Quinn loves him so much.
"YES!" Monica shouted from the kitchen, putting down the phone.
"What?" The four friends in the living room asked, turning around to face her as she explained her overjoy.
"Carol and Susan's caterer had a mountain bike accident this weekend and she's in a full body cast."
Quinn and the boys looked at each other before shouting in sync a confused "Yes!"
"They want me to do it, which is really cool seeing as I've never catered before and I really need the money and... This isn't a problem for you, is it?" Monica asked her brother, taking a seat in between Quinn and Ross on the couch.
"Would it matter?"
"Oh, you are so great!" The brunette pecked his cheek in thanks. "Thank you!"
"Are you really not going?" Joey asked Ross.
"I'm really not going," the palaeontologist confirmed. "I mean, I don't get it. They already live together. Why do they need to get married?"
"Because they love each other and they want to celebrate that love with the people that are close with them," Monica explained.
"If you want to call that a reason," Ross complained before taking a bite of his sandwich.
"Who's the bitterest man in the living room?" Chandler sang as he walked back from the kitchen.
Quinn joined him in the second verse of his taunting song. "The bitterest man in the living room."
Chandler smiled at his redheaded friend and sat down on the armchair, removing his work shoes to get more comfortable. "Hi neighbour," he said to Ross, indicating that he was the bitterest man of his song.
"Ross, I thought you were over this," Monica said but her brother interrupted her.
"That has nothing to do with this, okay? She's my ex-wife. If she were marrying a guy, none of you would expect me to be there," Ross defended himself and Quinn had to agree with him.
"Hey, if she were marrying a guy, she'd be like, the worst lesbian ever," Joey said, making Quinn giggle.
"If anything, this shows that you see Carol and Susan's couple with the same seriousness as you would a heterosexual couple," Quinn agreed with Ross once she was done laughing.
"Thank you!" Ross said, thankful for the support.
Rachel walked in the apartment at that moment, coming back from work just in time for Joey's big television debut. "Did I miss it? Did I miss it?" She asked, rushing to take off her coat and sit on the couch.
"No, no, I'm on right after this guy shoots himself," Joey reassured her.
"Woah, she's pretty," Chandler remarked about one of the actresses.
