REN and The Heartless Devil

CHAPTER XXVII

Four days passed since I found that antidote on my locker and I still don't have any idea who gave it to me. I decided to wait for him or her to come to me since sabi naman nya sa note na see you soon. Hindi pa din nagigising si Brylle but his vitals are already okay his body just need to regenerate his energy kumalat na kasi ang lason bago pa ma inject sa kanya yung antidote.

Ten days na din since we last saw Grae and we don't have any news about him. The last time he called was when I cooked breakfast for the gang. And true to his word Clay is doing his moves para mas maging close kami. Gosh! Kung pwede nga sigurong samahan ako pati sa cr gagawin nya. "Gab baba na dito na sundo mo" gaya nyan last friday pa yan nagsimula sabay kaming papasok ng school pag pareho ang schedule namin sa umaga.

"Morning Elle" Clay greeted me pagkarating ko sa sala. "Morning" he's handsome as always plus he changed tumatawa na sya ngayon. I did changed too thanks to them I'm slowly becoming bubbly. "Let's go late na tayo" nagmamadaling lumabas si Yuri sa bahay kaya sinundan nalang namin.

I put my headset on and play my favorite rock songs to wake my senses up dito na kami ngayon sa classroom. Yuri and Magi are chit chatting with our classmates. Minutes later nagsipagbalik na sila sa upuan siguro nandyan na yung prof kaya tinanggal ko na yung headset ko. "Good morning" sir Lorenz greeted us as he enter the room. His on leave last week kaya ngayon ko nalang ulit sya nakita.

"Lets start our discussion, we need to double time since one month from now is your final exams" grabe time fly so fast three months na pala since lumipat kami dito. "First I would like to check if you did what I instructed before I took my leave" nag-iwan ba naman ng san damakmak na reading assigment. Jusme sir di na po kami high school majoring na ho tayo.

"Who coined the term chemical reaction engineering? This is just a review of what you learned so far" marami naman ang nataas but not me my lazyness is on full mode. "Yes Mr. Alegre?" tumayo naman yung bookworm namin classmate. " J.C. Vlugter sir" sir Lorenz smiled. " When did Vlugter coined that term?" I just ignored them nakatingin lang ako sa field pero nakikinig naman ako.

"Ms. Nishida" ay putcha kakasabi ko lang tinatamad ako. I close my eyes in annoyance and stood up. Badtrip! Sir Lorenz is smiling sweetly maybe he notice that I didn't pay attention to our lesson. "While preparing the first European Symposium on chemical reaction engineering held in Amsterdam in 1957" I lazily answered at naupo ulit. Mas lalo namang lumawak yung ngiti ni sir Lorenz. What's wrong with him?

The class ended na puro recitation ang nangyari I'm thankful that he didn't call my name again. "We don't have a class this afternoon right?" Yuri and I just nod at Magi. "Any plans?" She's wiggling her eyebrows mas naging cute sya. "Mall tayo" excited na sigaw ne Yuri. "Oh, I guess tayo lang matutuloy Magi andyan na yung manliligaw ng isa dyan" Yuri in her teasing voice kaya sinundan ko yung tinitingnan nya and there I saw Clay waiting for me. "He is not courting me".

Gosh bat mas naging gwapo sya ngayon? A lot of girls are checking him out kaya lumabas na ako kaagad. "Hi, you don't have any class after this right?" He ask sabay agaw sa dala kong libro, I just nod. "Good we're going somewhere. I'll just borrow your friend" baling nya kina Yuri ng thumbs up naman ang dalawa with their usual teasing look.

"After you" he open his car's door "We'll be back here before four I still have class" yung motor ko kasi ang iniisip ko. "Where are we going?" I ask him, he glance at me then look at the road again. "Somewhere you'll like" he is smiling kaya napa smile nalang din ako.
