REN and The Heartless Devil

CHAPTER XXXV

Sem break and the group decided to go to the beach again since last time was not successful some uninvited guest ruined it. This time sa resort naman nila Clay somewhere in palawan.

"Give me your bag" Clay has been acting so sweet and attentive since that night in the arena. By the way we are currently boarding on the plane to Palawan. "Come here" he hold my hand and guide me to my seat beside the window.

"Sleep, I'll just wake you up later" he held my head at pinatong sa balikat nya, I smiled at him before I close my eyes.

After an hour and 20 minutes, pababa na kami ng eroplano. "Ren, di ka tumabi sa akin" nagtatampong salubong sa akin ni Brylle. I scratch my brows and give him an apologetic look. "Yeah yeah I know your with him, no need to say it okay lang" he smiled bitterly at paalis na sana ng hawakan ko ang kamay nya.

"Why?" he's eyes glows maybe expecting something nice from me. "Lets tour the place together, okay?" lumawak naman yung ngiti nya kaya napa smile na din ako. "Sure, see you later then" he waved at me before he walks to where Dane is. As long as kaya ko, I'm trying to be the bestfriend he wants me to be. But not in a way na he will expect that I can love him back.

After 2 hours na biyahe nakarating na din kami sa resort, the long ride is worth it this place is paradise. "Wow parang gusto ko ng tumira dito" Yuri exclaimed excitedly pagkababa namin sa van. "Right this place is heaven, bakit ngayon mo lang kami dinala dito Clay" pagrereklamo ni Aidan dito sa katabi ko. "You'll just pollute this place" Clay answered coolly napasimangot naman si Aidan sa kanya which he just ignore. "Let's go, I'll show you your room" sabay hawak sa kamay ko.

"Uy paano naman kami dude?" sigaw ni Brent sa kanya nasa stairs na kasi kaming dalawa. "They will guide you" pertaining to the three attendants beside the stairs.

"Take some rest, my room is the last one on the left wing" he kiss my hair before leaving me alone in my room. Ha! I'll never get used to him being this touchy, it always makes my checks burn. I haven't felt something like this after Kenji, I'm moving on and I'm happy. And I am sure Ken would understand.

I woke up two hours after I slept, naghalf bath lang ako at ng mouthwash and changed my clothes. I wore a red tank top and black faded maong shorts, a little short for my liking, again Yuri packed my things last night kaya no choice ako. I grab my dslr and storm out of the room.

I saw Clay standing beside the main door talking to someone on his phone. A smile form on my lips while observing him, he is perfect, too perfect for someone like me. But my smile slowly faded when a girl suddenly hug him from behind. I thought he would push her away like the usual but to my disappointment he smiled at the girl, a geniune smile.

"I miss you!" dinig kong sabi ng babae sa kanya, she's beautiful and she look so sweet and innocent. My heart twitch when I heard Clay laugh heartily. He didn't even notice my presence habang kausap nya yung babae. Ang sakit, I know I like him, I just didn't know that I like him this much already. "Bakit ngayon ka lang bumalik dito" nagtatampong sabi nung babae sa kanya. I'm hurt but I couldn't move my feet to walk away, masokista na ata ako.
