REN and The Heartless Devil

CHAPTER XLVIII

"I'll fetch you later for lunch" he informed me while looking at the road. We are now on our way to school. If he could only be with me 24/7 he would simula nung payagan ko syang manligaw. For four days everyday is an adventure for us two. Like yesterday, we rode on a jeep and went to nowhere specific. Just to experience how it felt like to ride one. And many other out of the usual stuffs.

Pagkababa namin sa kotse nya, their eyes are on us. Parang hindi pa rin sila sanay na makita kaming laging magkasama. He would always walked me to my room bago sya pumasok sa klase nya. "See you later" he gave me a small smile pagkarating namin sa tapat ng pinto. "Yeah see you" I replied before I went inside the room.

"Morning Ren" Magi has that teasing smile again. By the way Aidan is also courting Magi. I already saw this one coming actually. Bagay naman silang dalawa. "Morning" sagot ko sa kanya before I took my seat. Yuri is busy chitchatting with our classmates. "Morning" nilingon ko naman si Drake na katabi ko lang.

"Morning" I greeted back at tiningnan ko kung anong binabasa nya. Nagrereview pala sya about our discussion last meeting. Him being here is like a challenge for me. Matalino si Drake though it's not so surprising knowing he is from Princeton but still I've been so pumped up lately. I saw him as a rival in academics.

"How are you and Grae?" maya maya ay tanong nya sa akin. He put his notes back to his bag and focused his attention on me. "We're good" maikli kong sagot sa kanya and I saw how sadness abruptly pass through his eyes. After those three guys alam ko na kung anong ibig sabihin ng lungkot na yun. But I like Drake like how I like Brylle. Just a friend.

Our professor left five minutes earlier. Kaya naghahanda na kami ngayon ng gamit namin. Napalingon kami sa pinto ng biglang naging maingay sa labas. "C'mon tingnan natin" Yuri grab my hand at kinalakdkad ako papunta sa pinto. I creased my forehead when I saw what the commotion was all about. Grae is leaning on the wall habang may kaharap syang babae.

"What's your name?" malambing na tanong dito ng babae. If only I could see her face upfront. But based on her side view masasabing kung maganda sya. Marami na din ang nakikinood at dinig na dinig ko yung bulungan. Pansin ko din yung kakaibang pagsulyap nila sa akin. Of course they would look at me, Grae has been very open about him courting me.

Hinintay kong sumagot si Grae but that didn't happened. He straighten up and was about to leave the girl when she suddenly cling her arm to him. I heard the crowd gasp. And I feel something inside me twitched. Seeing her whole face now, masasabi kong transferee sya. "Hey, I am asking you your name" malambing pa din wika ng babae.

"I didn't give you the right to fucking touch me" Grae's dangerous voice send shivers to my spine. Ang talim ng tingin nya dun sa babae. I can even saw fear on the audience's eyes. But she didn't budge and even give him a flirtatious smile. "Oh, playing hard to get. I like that." Shit! I wanna grab my gun and put holes all over her body.

With just a blink of an eye she is already lying on the floor face down. "Bitch" his lips forming a thin line "The next time you'll show your face to me, I will kill you!" I don't know but I felt relief from what he did. Nakadapa pa rin yung babae, siguro nahihiya syang tumayo.
